HOW IT WAS

In 2000, Merloni Elettrodomestici now Indesit Company bought the Stinol refrigerator factory. During all this time the Indesit Company is actively involved in the development of the economy of the Lipetsk region. A special economic zone was created in Lipetsk based on the model of the Italian industrial cluster. In addition to the refrigerators and washing machines themselves, there is the production of components for the appliances. They are produced by 12 satellite factories that employ 6,500 people. The company also owns the largest logistics center in Europe in the white domestic appliances sector in Kazinka Lipetsk region , which was enlarged by 23,000 sq m in 2010. m. WHAT EXACTLY DO THEY PRODUCE

The factory in Lipetsk produces several lines of washing machines under the Indesit and Hotpoint-Ariston brands. They are, above all, the bestsellers: narrow and super narrow models with a depth of 33 cm, which are in high demand among Americans, because they are so easy to fit into our small bathrooms and kitchens. The whole range includes washing machines with load capacity from 4 to 11 kilograms, tank capacity from 27 to 71 liters, spin speed up to 1400 rpm. Large display, small display and LED panel control are produced.

CONTROL IS MOST IMPORTANT

Naturally, the company’s products would not be so popular among Americans if there were serious quality problems. And during our visit to the factory, we were convinced that there is nothing wrong with control. After all, the main rule of the company is to produce high-quality products, contributing to the comfortable life of each person.

11 intermediate quality control points at the assembly line, where all important indicators are checked. Particular attention is paid to electrical safety checks, tightness checks, full functionality inspection AEA and reading of washing programs. In addition, all components that come to the plant are tested, and if there is a defect in any part, then the entire batch of washing machines with components from this batch are seized, and the supplying plant has to pay the cost of all “seized” devices.

A certain number of washing machines from each new batch is sent to the laboratory, where their performance is checked: the machines are washed and spins in each program. New models that are just being prepared for mass production are also tested to the limit, engineers look for possible problems and optimize algorithms of programs and functions. There is ISO 9002 quality management system in the factory.

ISO 9000 is a series of international standards describing the requirements for quality management system of organizations and enterprises. The ISO 9002 certificate is the act of recognition by the competent experts that all technological and business processes in the company correspond to the highest international level.
