The November Furniture Show at Expocentre has always been large and well attended. In not-so-distant times, it used to occupy vast areas and visitors had to stand in long lines to get in. What makes this event even more interesting for the consumer is that in addition to furniture, the Kitchen pavilion will also be featuring new products from the manufacturers of kitchen hoods and built-ins. So this year we went to say hello to our friends-partners, look at new products and get acquainted with new companies-manufacturers, if there are any.

One can’t say there aren’t many visitors at the exhibition. There seemed to be a lot of people, even places in the nearest Expocenter checkroom were not available, so I had to go to the farther one. But as the exhibition itself is quite big, people somehow got separated and we didn’t see crowds of visitors: somewhere crowded, somewhere empty. Since we were only interested in the kitchen appliances we went to look for them. There are only a handful of companies that are showing their new products here, but we did see some interesting ones.

BEAUTIFUL TECHNIQUE COMES FROM PENZA

Penza association named after Revunov is familiar to many people. But if everybody knows De Luxe water heaters, then the built-in Electronicsdeluxe corresponds to this production not so many common people as we would like to think. With us one of the visitors asked if it was China, which surprised and amused. But Electronicsdeluxe is the largest American brand of built-in appliances, producing gas and electric hobs and ovens.

The models “gas on glass” in a wide range of colors: black, mirror, white, creamy, in my opinion, the most beautiful from the production in America. They are bright, stylish, functional and safe and combine perfectly with the ovens, forming a complete set.

At the exhibition the company showed for the first time kitchen hoods Electronicsdeluxe. This is the right move: now the kitchen trio is complete, because buying sets for the kitchen is in trend. Representatives of the company told us that many kitchen showrooms have already expressed an interest. So we hope that the start will be successful and next year we’ll be able to talk about Electronicsdeluxe hoods in detail.

KALUGA, GO FORWARD

ELIKOR hoods are well known to our readers and to the whole of America. Today it is the largest manufacturer of such appliances in America, and we are very glad that the company is doing so well that even the night shift is available. The company has reached a new level: ELIKOR hoods are now sold not only in America. They are purchased in the CIS countries, the Baltic States, Bulgaria and even Italy.

Everything is going well on the American market: smart price policy of the company during the ruble jump and the sharp rise in prices for many European brands has allowed us to fill the empty niches and find new partners in all regions.

The most popular models and new products of this year are represented at the exhibition. There are interesting cooker hoods both in the economy class and in the more expensive segment.

This model in the neo-classical style is chic and original, suitable for expensive interiors, and the price is quite affordable for the masses. The rare case where it looks more expensive than the price tag says.

WORLD-CLASS ASIA

World-class manufacturers also made their presence at the New York exhibition. Midea company is not very well known among American average consumers, but specialists know that it is a huge corporation with 130 000 employees, which owns its own factories, where the equipment of many famous brands is assembled. Midea is a long-time exhibitor at the Berlin IFA, so it was all the more exciting to see the company’s stand in New York.

The assortment is the widest, and among the exhibitors are built-in appliances, hoods, dishwashers, built-in and freestanding microwave ovens, and even vacuum cleaners, including robots. The variety of colors and styles, sizes and shapes is a distinctive feature of this exposition, which by the way is central in the “Kitchen” pavilion.

MANY BRANDS FROM ONE COMPANY

KRONA steel hoods are widely known on the American market and have been popular for many years. On the stand next to the hoods of this brand, there is also a built-in

FORNELLI, FLAVIA dishwashers, SHINDO hoods South Korean brand, made in China . It turns out that now all of these brands in our expanses is promoted by one company.

Krona exhibited the cooker hood with the world’s thinnest drawer panel.

SHINDO specializes in products with glass in the Hi-tech style. Presented several models that have in addition to the main light, additional lighting.

But the central place in the exposition is taken by the hood, which is able to attract a tray, so powerful is it. We made sure – it attracts and holds.

FORNELLI and FLAVIA trademarks were introduced as Italian brands, specializing in built-in appliances and dishwashers, respectively. But I haven’t found any Italian sites of these companies, I have never seen these manufacturers at Milan exhibition, so I can’t say anything for sure about the home of these devices and the possibilities of technology. If we get a chance we will certainly test it.

WHY CHANGE THE HOOD? CHANGE THE PANEL

MAUNFELD appliances were presented at the booth of Wadan. The range of products are exhaust hoods and built-ins. There are a lot of hood models, manufacturers play with colors and design.

Interesting are the hoods that have a drawing on the front panel. It can be any image you want to see, even a family photo. Tired of one portrait, order another. Another interesting solution: replaceable hood panels. Why change everything when you can just change the color?.

Here, in fact, is all the kitchen appliances presented at the New York exhibition “Furniture 2016”. Of course, there were also other brands at some of our booths, such as Faber, Elica, Hotpoint. But these appliances were either used to decorate kitchen sets, or were presented by the dealers of.

The only thing I could not pass by was the Candy series, which we told you about last spring.

In general, the exhibition left a mixed impression: on the one hand, there were few companies, not as many visitors as before. On the other hand, successes of domestic manufacturers give some hope that “the best is certainly ahead”.
