Nikon has updated the firmware for the Z7 mirrorless camera

Nikon updated the firmware to version 1.01 for the new Z7 mirrorless camera. The update makes improvements and fixes errors that occurred with the camera.

Mirrorless Cameras

The main changes made by the update:

1. Fixed a bug where, on rare occasions, the camera would stop responding during continuous shooting if NEF RAW was selected for “Image Quality” and “On” was selected for “Silent Photo” in the MENU REVIEW. PHOTOS.

2. If “Allow Shutter Release” is selected for “Lock.If you have not already set up your Nikon camera, the “Picture Preview” option in the VIEWER MENU is now available, even if no memory card is inserted.
