The two models differ in that the D800e has a low-pass optical filter on the sensor instead of the usual spectral filter, which has completely eliminated the smoothing properties. This achieves maximum image sharpness and better gradations are conveyed in monochrome. Otherwise, the cameras are identical.

Description:
The full frame sensor with 36.3 megapixels is the most impressive feature of these cameras. The cameras have a fast focusing module, but the continuous shooting speed is not great. Very good signal-to-noise ratio limits the maximum sensitivity compared to reportage cameras, but for most tasks it is more than enough. The most outstanding features come in video recording: the cameras can record uncompressed video directly to a computer via the receiver.
Can anyone share their personal experience or insights on the Nikon D800 / D800e digital SLR camera? I’m considering purchasing one and would love to hear about its performance, image quality, and any unique features it offers. Additionally, any pros and cons compared to other similar cameras would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
