The colorful COOLPIX S6500, with built-in Wi-Fi, a 16-megapixel CMOS sensor and a wide-angle 12x optical zoom NIKKOR lens, is designed to let you share the masterpieces you capture in seconds by connecting to the Internet and uploading your images.

The stylish and slim COOLPIX S2700 fits in your pocket and still has a wide-angle 6x zoom NIKKOR lens, 16-megapixel sensor, 6.7cm 2.7in LCD monitor with anti-glare coating and HD 720p movie recording capability.

“Both the COOLPIX S6500 and COOLPIX S2700 make it easy to take great photos and movies anywhere, and the S6500 also makes it possible to instantly publish footage online,” explains Nicolas Gillet, European Consumer Product Marketing Manager for Nikon. – Both models feature wide-angle lenses that allow you to zoom in and out of the subjects you’re shooting, such as group shots, as well as zoom in for a sense of presence. On top of that, smart portrait and glossy retouching systems help create artistic portraits. The COOLPIX S6500 lets you forget the trade-offs between image quality and instant uploads. This camera features a wide-angle NIKKOR lens with a 12x optical zoom 25-300mm to capture high-resolution images from short or long distances, while its 16-megapixel backlit CMOS sensor ensures optimal illumination in any shooting situation, whether it’s a sunset, concert or romantic candlelit dinner.

Shooting in Full HD 1080p is made even easier with a dedicated movie button, instantly switching from photo to movie mode. Nikon’s Automatic Vibration Reduction technology compensates for camera shake in real time, allowing you to concentrate on choosing the best composition.

And if you want to show your captured photos or movies to family or friends, you will have the opportunity to send them using the built-in Wi-Fi adapter to your mobile device[i] for upload to your favorite social media. Intelligent auto functions continually optimise exposure according to shooting conditions, so all you have to do is compose your shot and press the shutter. Intelligent portrait system, including smile timer, blink tracking, skin tone softening and red-eye reduction in the camera, ensures that the subject always looks flawless in the photograph.
