The Coolpix P7100’s implicit but weighty merits, instead of loud specs, lie in its complete focus on the photographer’s comfort and enjoyment.

This camera from the beginning to the end is thought out as a tool for experienced amateur photographers who appreciate quality and full manual control of photography. But therein lies the main drawback of the Coolpix P7100.

The device has a large matrix with a low resolution, ensuring high sensitivity and good quality of photos, as well as high-quality optics with a fairly good aperture ratio. But above all – successful ergonomics that help you quickly and intuitively control every aspect of the camera.

At a different time, all of the above, as well as a design with a rough hint of gritty utilitarianism and old rangefinder cameras, would undoubtedly have attracted many photographers.

However, the Coolpix P7100 does not differ from today’s mirrorless system cameras in size, weight, or price, but is inferior to them in quality. This does not mean that you should not buy the P7100.
