The result is the second generation of SMART Camera 2.0, the flagship of which is the new Samsung NX300. SMART mode lets users select from 14 different presets, such as Creative Shot, Landscape, Light Trails or Freeze Frame, which automatically sets aperture and shutter speed. The NX300 also has a useful i-Depth feature – an easy and simple way to adjust the depth of field. The i-Function system with which the camera is compatible makes it easy to change settings using the lens without using the menu, so you don’t have to take your eyes off your subject.

Instant photo sharing through an improved Wi-Fi connection
The NX300’s Wi-Fi connection lets users instantly and securely share their photos by sending them from the camera to their smartphone tablet or TV . To connect your smartphone to the camera, users need only download the Samsung SMART Camera app available for both Android and iOS devices in their respective app stores to their mobile device and run it once, to create a secure connection to the camera.
The NX300 is able to detect a wireless connection and automatically connect to a smartphone whenever any of the camera’s SMART features are activated. That includes AutoShare, which automatically sends all your best photos to your smartphone for safe storage and Mobile Link, which lets users select and transfer images or entire albums from the camera directly to their smartphone.
The SMART Camera app also includes a “Remote viewfinder” function, a remote viewfinder for the NX300, allowing you to control settings remotely and be more creative in your shooting process.
The NX300’s Wi-Fi connection also allows you to share images with friends and family directly from the camera via social networking sites at the touch of a DIRECT LINK hot button. Images can also be automatically backed up or can be stored in the cloud through the AllShare Play service – always securely protected and easily accessible.

With full HD 1080p video recording and playback capabilities, the Samsung NX300 and its 45mm 2D/3D lens make it the only compact system camera to capture both 3D stills and 3D movies. The NX300 is also compatible with Samsung’s full range of NX series professional lenses and accessories, giving users an unprecedented variety of options for creating the perfect photo.
The new Samsung NX300 camera will be available on the American market by the end of March 2013.
