Military-compliant smartwatch

Huami, a manufacturer of wearable smart electronics for sports and health monitoring, introduces the Amazfit T-Rex smart watch. For the first time in the Amazfit line there is a device that can be called not only smart, but also strong: the watch is certified in accordance with twelve military standards and is able to withstand even the most aggressive environment. At the same time it not only keeps all the usual functions of a smart watch, but also gets new features.

A tough nut to crack

The Amazfit T-Rex impresses just by its appearance: its massive case looks very impressive. Rugged plastic protects the smart stuff from drops, dust and moisture. With such a companion you can safely go hiking for days without fear of natural disasters. Even if the device gets heavily soiled in mud, frozen in ice, or hit hard against a hard surface such as during a mountain climbing , it will not affect its performance. No charge required either: the watch is capable of working in standalone mode for up to 20 days. Swimming across Lake Baikal, participating in triathlons or the Race of Heroes, rolling out a new course at Dombai or storming mud-covered slides on an enduro motorcycle – you can do it all without taking the T-Rex off your hands.

Everything under control

Even in extreme conditions, this ultra-rugged smart watch doesn’t stop its discreet but useful work for a minute. Capable of tracking 14 different workouts, including running, cycling, tracking and elliptical cardio. Turn on the sport mode before a workout to get stats: T-Rex details the kilometers and speed, counts time and calories burned, and even draws a track when it comes to jogging . Navigation is available thanks to Sony’s built-in GPS sensor, which is highly accurate and low in power consumption.

Health monitoring is another useful function of Amazfit T-Rex smart watch. It features the Huami Bio Tracker™ optical sensor, which accurately and continuously counts your heart rate and alerts you if it is out of normal range. This option will be useful not only for professional athletes, but also for ordinary users who monitor their health.

All information is displayed on the bright and clear 1.3-inch AMOLED screen. T-Rex has an always on display mode which, when activated, will permanently display the date and time and allow the wearer to orient themselves at a glance. Of course, T-Rex has all the standard functions for such devices: it can count steps, track sleep phases and show all kinds of notifications: from incoming calls to messenger messages.

Price and availability

The Amazfit T-Rex smartwatch will be available in two colors: army green and black. You can buy the new product in stores of DNS network. From May 11 to 24 available for pre-order for a special price of 11,999 Dollars, after May 24 the cost will be 12,999 Dollars.
