LG unveils new lower freezer fridge model at IFA 2022

LG Electronics LG presents at IFA 2022 the latest refrigerator model with a bottom freezer compartment. Thanks to the energy-saving LG Inverter Linear Compressor, a renovated interior and advanced freshness technologies, including LinearCooling and DoorCooling+, the environmentally friendly kitchen becomes a whole.

LG’s bottom freezer fridge-freezer has an “A” energy efficiency rating, the highest rating you can get under the European Commission’s strict energy standards system. To get the “A” rating, the company’s engineers improved the condenser and heat exchanger structure of the refrigerator and improved the airflow path to achieve more efficient and uniform cold air flow throughout the cabinet.

LG’s new refrigerator also features an incredibly efficient and highly durable InverterLinearCompressor compressor. The innovative design reduces annual energy consumption by 10 percent compared to other LG A-rated refrigerators, which in turn helps consumers reduce the energy footprint in the home and save on energy bills.

In addition, the high-performance new product is equipped with LG’s freshness-enhancing technologies, LinearCooling and DoorCooling+. LinearCooling reduces temperature fluctuations and helps to keep food fresher for longer, while DoorCooling+ directs the cold air from the top of the fridge-freezer to hard-to-reach places, such as the front door basket.

For easy operation, the new lower freezer fridge features remote control and monitoring via LG’s ThinQTM smartphone app. This allows users to adjust settings and check operating conditions from virtually anywhere.

Additional convenience is provided by the two-stage folding shelf and wine rack: the first folds out and can hold large items if necessary, while the second allows you to store up to five bottles of wine at once. What’s more, thanks to LG’s Metal Fresh interior, this model instantly takes on a new style.
