LG MULTIMEDIA. ARCHITECTURAL INTEGRATION

The winning entry in this category went to the design of the train station by Andrei Kot and Tatiana Golovach. Andrei and Tatiana’s work presented the conceptual design of the railway station using LG information multimedia systems. The project shows the passenger boarding area and business class zone. Professional OLED In-glass displays and unique Ultra stretch displays 88BH7D and 86BH5C were used in the project. These screens are used as information boards for train schedule and navigation at the station. In addition, the placement of video wall displays as a promotional medium.

The winner was Alexander Malygin who presented his project “Avant-garde Complex” for a multifunctional complex in New York in the form of a 3,500 sq. m atrium space.m. The basis of the conceptual solution – a green island, untouched nature with walking paths, greenery, a pond and benches for recreation. The center of the architectural solution is the screen hovering under the glass dome of the atrium, which in the future may be implemented with the help of curved OLED displays or LED screens. The space of the business center is surrounded by Ultra Stretch displays with a running line of currency and stock quotes. Showrooms, boutiques and bars are also equipped with professional OLED Wall Paper and In-glass displays for showing promotional videos.
