LG integrates google services into popular LG TONE series wireless headphones

New LG TONE Platinum SE will feature Google Translator and other Artificial Intelligence options at the touch of a button.

At IFA 2018, the latest and most advanced wireless headsets from LG Electronics LG will be presented, chief among which will be LG TONE Platinum SE model HBS-1120 with a special button to activate the Google Assistant voice assistant and LG TONE Ultra SE model HBS-835S with an external speaker.

LG TONE Platinum SE will be the first wearable device in the TONE series, in which the functions of real-time translator and Google Assistant will be available at the touch of a button. Users will be able to activate Google Assistant without using the phrase “Okay, Google” and thus get quick access to the interactive capabilities of artificial intelligence. The benefits of this feature are especially evident when accessing the Google Translator service. No need to say the phrase “Okay, Google” to activate the service, making communication in another language easier, faster and more natural.

LG engineers integrated a counterbalanced anchor and dynamic transducer into the new units, creating a combination typically used in in-ear headphones for professional musicians. Balanced anchor produces clear high-frequency sound, and dynamic radiators provide powerful bass.

LG’s newest audio headsets are available in black, blue and gold.

LG_TONE_Ultra_SE

Another new device, the LG TONE Ultra SE, features an external mono speaker. With its help, users can make calls and listen to music without drowning out background sounds, which is ideal in situations where it is important to pay attention to your surroundings. Both the LG TONE Platinum SE and LG TONE Ultra SE use a dual MEMS microphone for superior audio clarity during calls, and also support the Tone & Talk mobile app.
