that have a chance to enter the market in the next 3-5 years.

They all share the idea of a smart home that learns about its owners from all sorts of sensors and can thus make their lives healthier and more comfortable.

TONE

TONE: the appliance for better skin

Panasonic’s designers immediately turned their attention to an important part of the body, the condition of which can give away the real age of any person – the neck. This small device looks like a futuristic headset, but it distributes not sound, but light in the red spectrum and streams of the tiniest water vapor. Its intensity varies with skin condition, body temperature, external temperature and humidity. But with consistent use, it helps stimulate collagen production, improves skin condition and firmness, reduces wrinkles, maintains youthfulness and fresh appearance.

GROW

GROW: hair strengthening

The smart device is put on the head on the principle of a headband. First, it scans your scalp and assesses the condition of your hair and skin – the concentration of hair follicles, dryness, irritation, etc. Results can be displayed on the surface of the “smart mirror” demonstrated at previous exhibitions . Then, thanks to regular exposure to infrared light at specific wavelengths, the device stimulates hair follicle growth and improves the overall condition of hair and skin. The developers expect that the smart device will be interesting not only for men, for whom hair loss can be more noticeable and critical, but also for women, who want to achieve more volume and shine hair.

WAVE

WAVE: scalp care and relaxation

Another futuristic device that performs two functions at once.

The first for which users will undoubtedly love it is a relaxing head massage. Four ergonomic protrusions, whose shape resembles that of human fingers, with varying frequency and force act on the skin, relieving tightness and stress. If you’re using dry shampoo at this point, the device will help gently and effectively cleanse your hair – and that’s a second useful feature.

EASE

EASE: care for your skin while you sleep

Another conceptual object developed by Panasonic engineers is more stationary. It’s installed at the headboard or on the wall above the heads of the sleepers. At night the device shines with invisible infra-red rays not interfering with your sleep around your head and shoulders and records the condition of your skin and sleep of each of the two people. If a person is hot or the room is not humid enough, etc.d., EASE begins to generate a fine mist of water, which easily penetrates deep into the skin, moisturizing it, improving its condition and lowering the surface temperature.

SHOT

SHOT: smart smoothie generator

This small and stylish gadget will decorate any kitchen. But its main advantage is the ability to get information about the owner’s health condition from the smart home sensors and to select the most suitable drink recipe for him. The gadget does not rely solely on a “higher intelligence”, but cross-checks the condition of the person in front of it with its own built-in camera. Information from the smart home, the final check, and you are offered a smoothie recipe with the vitamins and nutrients you need at that particular moment. All a person has to do is place the “pills” of pressed fruits or vegetables into the appropriate compartment, add liquid and place a cup. Half-finished smoothies can be made by yourself or the developer is considering this option ordered from authorized suppliers. The device is controlled by a smartphone.

LIFT

LIFT: healthy eating

The development of the British and Japanese Panasonic designers is called to change the approach to cooking and eating. It is remotely associated with traditional Japanese restaurants, where roasters are placed in the center of the table and people gather around to leisurely cook meat, fish or vegetables and chat with each other. This device, of course, has no fire and uses healthy cooking modes – steam and high pressure combined with a system of very precise temperature control. As a result, the concept allows you to cook healthy meals according to your body’s current needs. It also includes the possibility of prolonged cooking, when, for example, you put all the prepared products and set the recipe when you go to work and by evening you get a ready-made, healthy dish on your table.
