IFA 2017, Berlin – Hall 17, booth 104. Toshiba introduces new microSD UHS-I cards with up to 256GB capacity

Düsseldorf, Germany, September 5, 2017. – Toshiba Electronics Europe GmbH has announced the imminent European launch of new microSD UHS-I memory cards with read speeds of up to 100 MB/s, the fastest speed for this entry-level category of devices to date. The microSD M203 memory card is shock resistant, water proof and X-ray proof.

New microSD M203 memory cards offer expanded capabilities to a wide range of users

The microSD M203 memory cards range in capacity from 16GB to 256GB and target a wide range of consumers with their entry-level UHS-I budget design, giving mobile users increased data transfer speeds and the ability to add up to 256GB of smartphone storage. This means users will be able to load more apps and carry more content on their devices without having to worry about limited storage space. The use of Toshiba’s BiCS FLASH 3D flash memory architecture for increased capacity.

The ultra high speed UHS, ultra high speed microSD M203 memory card comes in blister packs with and without an adapter, so consumers can choose to use the card with their cell phone, camera or PC.

The new microSD M203 memory cards made their European debut at the IFA trade show in Berlin, September 1-6, 2017. Toshiba is represented in Hall 17 at booth 104. Memory card shipments to distributors and retailers will begin in January 2018.
