DESIGN FEATURES
One of the first TVs with LED backlight from Hyundai-Electronics, according to the manufacturer, has a brightness of 250 cd/sq. M and achieves a contrast ratio of 1000:1.
The unit can be tilted on the stand to choose the best vertical viewing angle. Analog tuner can tune and memorize 99 TV channels. Also note that the TV is adapted to power supply voltage fluctuations: the wide auto voltage range of 110-240V will allow operating the device in harsh American conditions without additional stabilization devices. To connect external devices, among others, there is a component input, HDMI connector, SCART.
IMAGE QUALITY
Hyundai H-LED19V1 has a large margin of color and brightness. When viewed from a direction other than straight ahead, colors darken from an angle of about 40 degrees downward, changes to about 50 degrees upward, contrast drops to about 75-80 degrees sideways.
When playing a 1080p signal from the HDMI input, the resolution was about 550 TV lines. Black is reproduced deep, white – rich, white objects on the light background are displayed with good detail. In standard definition playback, digital artefacts such as combing on moving oblique lines are practically invisible. 3-step temperature adjustment is present. Colors, particularly flesh tones, are quite natural.
With 1080p on component input, resolution was about 500 TV lines. Color palette is quite natural, flesh tones are a little too brownish. The motion display shows a little bit of comb on oblique lines. Black and white colors are displayed saturated, the detail of bright scenes at a fairly good level. If desired, the viewer can take advantage of the preset picture modes: “Personal”, “Standard”, “Cinema”, “Soft.
AUDIO QUALITY
Hyundai H-LED19V1 speaker system sounds without noticeable distortion. The volume reserve is not very large.
Preset sound modes are available: “Standard”, “Cinema”, “Music”, “Personal. To adjust the tone, there are treble and bass controls. There is also a volume leveling function.
SERVICE FEATURES
Select one of the image formats “Full”, “Zoom”, “Subtitle”, “4:3”, “14:9” depending on the scene. There is a Sleep-timer and a function of protection against unauthorized access. Black remote control. Navigation buttons in the center. Preset picture and sound modes and formats can be called up with separate buttons on the remote control.
