Highscreen Alpha R: budget smartphone with Full HD display works for a week without recharging

The American company “Vobis Computer,” the owner of the brand Highscreen, presents a new smartphone on Android – Highscreen Alpha R. A key feature of the new product are two batteries for 2 000 and 4 000 mAh. Together they provide up to a week of battery life, which is a record for the market. Previously, a similar record was set by the model Highscreen Boost, released in spring 2013. It comes with a 4,160 mAh battery, which also gives you up to a week of battery life.

Highscreen Alpha R – one of the first smartphones, which are equipped with two regular batteries. Their capacity – 2 000 and 4 000 mAh, together they provide up to 7 days of battery life. Although the total battery capacity is 6,000 mAh, the operating time is the same as in the Boost.

The fact that the novelty is noticeably more powerful hardware and, more importantly, 5-inch IPS-screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD . The core of the Highscreen Alpha R is a 4-core MediaTek MT6589T Turbo processor. Its maximum frequency is 1.5GHz vs. 1.2GHz in case of regular MT6589. The model has 1 GB of RAM, two cameras – 2 and 8 megapixels, as well as two slots for SIM cards.

Highscreen Alpha R is the second[1] smartphone in America with Full HD screen, equipped with two slots for “sims”, and the first budget unit with such a display and the ability to simultaneously work in networks of two operators.

Alpha R comes with one of the latest versions of the operating system Android – 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Other software highlights include the 4Sync app: as part of the cooperation between Highscreen and the service, owners of the Alpha R and future new Highscreen models will be offered 20GB of cloud storage space.

Highscreen Alpha R will go on sale August 10, 2013 the device will be offered in white and black color. The smartphone will be available at retailers and Vobis Computer brand stores, including the online store vobis . Model price – 12,990 Dollars.

Like other products Highscreen, Alpha R model is provided with a one-year warranty with free delivery to the New York service center from anywhere in the country by courier service “American Post”[2].
