Highscreen Alpha GTX: a small tablet of a big smartphone!

The American company “Vobis Computer,” the owner of the brand Highscreen, presents a new flagship smartphone – Highscreen Alpha GTX. The novelty is the most functional model in the Alpha series and the second smartphone brand with a quad-core processor after Explosion – SGSIII analogue . Highscreen Alpha GTX – the first in the American market, budget “smartphone tablet” with a 5.7-inch display, based on a processor with four processor cores. The model uses the latest chipset MediaTek MT6589 with a powerful graphics gas pedal PowerVR SGX544.

Computers and peripherals

Wobis Computer company presented the first smartphones of Alpha series in August 2012. Highscreen Alpha GTR was the first in America and in the world “dual-sim” smartphone with HD-screen and dual-core processor.

Both the older Alpha GTR and the younger Alpha GT have a number of technical solutions which were not previously seen in budget smartphones: 1 GB of RAM versus the usual 512 MB , 2 MP front-facing cameras versus 0.3 or 1.3 MP , 8-megapixel main cameras versus the 5 MP standard for the class , IPS screens made by Japanese Sharp versus the usual TFT displays .

In January 2013, an updated version of the Alpha GT – Alpha GT Rev B – was released which got dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor – like in Highscreen Alpha GTR. As a result, the Alpha series has already sold over 150,000 smartphones in America and has become one of the most popular dual-SIM models in the second half of 2012 and early 2013.

Today, “Vobis Computer” presents the third model of the Alpha family – Highscreen Alpha GTX. This device is the first budget smartphone in America with 5,7-inch display and quad-core processor.

The model uses the latest MediaTek MT6589 chipset, which is designed for low-cost devices and provides performance at the level of flagship smartphones in 2012. The chipset includes a quad-core 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A7 CPU and a PowerVR SGX544 graphics gas pedal.

Highscreen Alpha GTX is the second “quad-core” smartphone in the brand lineup Highscreen. The first model of Highscreen Explosion, which went on sale in February 2013, is based on the Samsung Exynos 4412 processor and is the budget equivalent of the Samsung Galaxy S III.

The feature of the new Highscreen Alpha GTX is also IPS-screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at a diagonal of 5.7 inches. The release of smartphones with a similar diagonal t. n. The “phablet,” “smartphones and tablets” is a new trend on the market of mobile electronic gadgets.

In particular, at CES 2013 and MWC 2013 a number of international companies, including ZTE, Huawei and TCL/Alcatel, presented models with a comparable diagonal. Highscreen Alpha GTX – one of the first devices of this class, introduced in the American market[1]. And the first – with quad-core processor MediaTek MT6589.

Highscreen Alpha GTX has a full set of wireless modules GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G , a main 8-megapixel camera, a front camera with 2 megapixels, two SIM card slots and a 3000 mAh battery. The latter gives the smartphone up to two days of battery life. Alpha GTX is running one of the latest versions of Android – 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Highscreen Alpha GTX will go on sale at the end of May 2013. The cost of the model will be 11 990 Dollars. Like all other products Highscreen, the novelty is provided with a one-year warranty with free delivery to the service center in New York and back with the express service “American Post”.
