Our task is to understand how much we need this thing in our household! What can be cleaned with it and at the same time not to fall from the overload, how well and quickly it cleans the snow from different surfaces.

In a large colorful box delivered the tool itself, and the battery battery and charger in separate boxes with their own instructions .

The battery and charger are not always included and should be bought separately! You can save on buying them if you have several cordless tools and you use them seasonally or intermittently.

Cleaning up freshly fallen snow
Actors and performers
The testers were attracted by different ages, heights and experiences with gardening equipment.
- A freshman of 170 cm who has never held any gardening equipment in his hands.
- A lady of 170 cm – with trimmer experience.
- Retired woman – height 158 cm, absolutely no gardening experience.
- A boy of five with a trowel to measure the cleaned up areas and just for fun.
I want to point out right away that even if I’m 170 cm tall, I have to bend a little for this length of the handle 83 cm and 110 cm from the ground , but for men over 180 cm will not be very comfortable to work with.

During assembly, make sure that there are no small stones, corks, and other nonsense on the surface.
Digging out your favorite car
How does it happen in the winter: you look out the window in the morning and see that the car together with the “fellows” in the parking lot is covered with snow so that it is not always possible to get out, and to “wave a shovel” before work is not very desirable, and there is no time either. And then you get the “magic shovel” out of the closet trunk, put the battery in it is stored in the warmth of the house, always charged, in sight and … in a few minutes you can already drive out.
First we clean the site, then the car, t.k. The flying snow can “powder” the machine a second time.

While clearing your car, don’t fill up nearby cars. Surely your neighbors won’t approve. The accidental pebble can hit your neighbor’s window with great acceleration.
It is worth noting that the frozen “wave” of snow and chemicals, which was created by the city snowplow at night, this device can not pass. We only deal with snow.
Paths, paths, grounds!
If you have a private home, you regularly need to clean the driveway and the area under the car or the garage, and in some very snowy winters and several times a day.
In our case this is:
- Parking for two cars 20 square meters.m,
- path 17, 5 m,
- playground – 10 sq. km.m.
By clearing the parking lot 20 sq.m a student was involved, who was happy to “play with an unfamiliar device”.
Bottom line
In 7 minutes parking Length 10 m Width 2 m = 20 sqm. m was cleaned.
The area 2 on 4 + two sq. m = 10 sq. ft.m
and the path 25 m by 0.7 m = 17.5 m were clear in 8 minutes.
Total: 54.7 sq.m cleaned in 15 minutes from the snow height of 5-10 cm. The battery has another 50% charge.
IMPORTANT!!!
During work, the snow is thrown forward from the device. Be sure to consider the direction of the wind, otherwise all the snow will be on you! Do not forget about safety glasses, as well as dress appropriately, otherwise you can easily “collect” the snow in your shoes and down your neck.
Make sure that the snow does not fall on passersby or bystanders, if it gets stones in it, or a cork is “caught” such a “present” will not be nice.
CONGRATULATIONS: Both of our testers have taken part in the test and said that they would not mind to have such machines in their arsenal.
Of course, you can shovel fresh snow, and even enjoy the process if you treat it like fresh-air fitness. But the snow still needs to be lifted and thrown, and it is a completely different effort, it is because of them strongly straining the spine and joints. And the “magic” shovel does everything by itself, we only direct it. That’s why none of our testers got tired.
It was fun! We got a real snow show!

We didn’t set out to shovel snow down to the tile or asphalt, t.k. we think that white tracks are prettier and safer. But if you want, you can do it in one pass.
During the test, none of the passersby were indifferent: they watched from a distance, came up, asked about the device, the manufacturer, the weight of the snowblower and usability. They asked to hold it in their hands. Some took photos.
The professionals also showed a lot of interest – the district janitors.

After work, sweep the device with a brush, put it on the mat to dry and only then put it in storage.
Battery Greenworks G40B4 40 volt – lithium ion Li-ion – can be used to power all devices line of Greenworks G-MAX 40V.
The device consists of cells manufactured by the Japanese company Sanyo.

Battery charging time: 2A/h = 45 minutes 4A/h = 90 minutes.
Charging terminal is equipped with a redundant chip protection against overcharging when reaching 100% the device turns off . On the body there is a charge indicator. Charging feet are rubberized. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t allow us to conduct all of our intended tests of the snow shovel on “heavy” and high snow, but we’ll continue at the first snowfall.
