Fujifilm presents Shoot.Print.Share @ Inspire Printing, held at Photokina 2018

FUJIFILM will once again exhibit at Photokina 2018, the leading photo, video and imaging exhibition in Cologne, which this year takes place from September 26 to 29. This year, with the slogan “Every photo deserves to be printed”, Fujifilm is inviting European photo enthusiasts to upload one photo from May 1st to July 31st for a chance to be included in the exhibition.

To participate in the Photokina photography exhibition Shoot.Print.Share @ Inspire Printing all European countries are invited. As a bonus, senders of the first 5,000 photos will receive a 20×20 cm original Fujiblox with their photo printed on FUJIFILM branded photo paper sent free to their home address .

Photographs to be shown at the exhibition can be submitted by amateurs as well as professional photographers and taken with either a smartphone or a camera. Reflecting the theme of Let’s Celebrate Everyday!”, the photo must show the artistic value of everyday moments.

The first Inspire Printing exhibition was held in Düsseldorf in 2017. Fujifilm employees’ photographs from various European countries were displayed. With Share @ Inspire Printing, Fujifilm aims to inspire visitors to think about the emotion of looking at a photograph in order to promote photo printing.

The idea for the European photo exhibition @ Inspire Printing is inspired by Japan’s popular Photo Is photo project, which Fujifilm has been running for the past ten years. To date, this project has attracted more than 280,000 images, which have been exhibited in several Japanese cities. With Photo Is Inspire Printing, Fujifilm, the world’s largest photographic equipment and imaging company, aims to draw attention to printing as an integral part of our photographic heritage along with photography.
