ELICA, one of the world’s leading cooker hood manufacturers, offers new insights into the kitchen layout. At the Milan show the company introduced an induction cooktop and a cooker hood that work in tandem. The company has come up with a chic name for its original product, which best reflects the essence of innovation.
The hood in this tandem lost its role as the “most expensive fixture” and design element, which also cleans the kitchen air from carbon monoxide and odors. In the new system it’s now a part of the cooker hob, an integral part that doesn’t give the steam a chance. It even knows how to turn on automatically when you need it to clean the air.
We are looking forward to seeing the new product in New York to assess how successfully the hood copes with its task: after all, it is built into the cooking surface and must work very actively, so as not to let the steam rise to the top.
The hob is equipped with all the necessary features of premium models. The number of heating zones can be varied depending on the diameter of the bottom of the pot, the slider control allows you to change modes literally with the movement of your finger, all the necessary safety features are provided as well.
The price of the new product is not yet known.
