Documentary feature films of the 2019 Oscar Awards were filmed using Canon devices

At the 91st Academy Awards, five films shot with Canon cameras and lenses were among the contenders for Best Documentary Feature Film. The winner of this category, the film “Free Solo,” tells the story of the world’s most decorated climber, Alex Honnold, the first man to climb the 3,000-foot vertical mountain El Capitan without insurance.
