Cooler Master, a global leader in computer hardware and peripherals, is expanding its SK lineup with two new narrow mechanical keyboards, the SK650 and SK630. These are slim-profile mechanical keyboards that offer the perfect balance of productivity for work and play.
“When creating the SK line, we paid maximum attention to design and functionality. It is suitable for those who work and play a lot in the daytime,” said Bryant Nguyen, General Manager for Peripherals.
The SK line features Cherry MX low-profile switches with a shortened actuation point distance, which offer the same durability and accuracy as the standard red switches. The devices feature a USB Type-C interface for convenience. The backlighting for each key, ambient light bars and macros can be customised through the easy-to-use Portal Software Application.
On-the-fly controls let you adjust the backlighting in real time and use macros without any additional software, including enabling/disabling the Windows lock to prevent it from accidentally triggering during gaming. Users can choose a device in one of two sizes, depending on preference. The SK650 is a full layout keyboard, while the SK630 is a junior model with a layout that has ten fewer keys. It’s perfect for users who have limited workspace.
Later Cooler Master will unveil Bluetooth and wireless versions of the keyboards, as well as the SK621, a compact keyboard with 65 keys, which is ideal for on-the-go typing. It will be released at the end of March. SK651, SK631 and SK621 wireless and Bluetooth-equipped versions will be available in white or black. Cooler Master will also offer Apple and Android compatible models.
