Such a fantastic picture, which is already becoming reality, was demonstrated at its booth by the Italian company Candy. Last year in Brugherio that’s where the company headquarters is located not far from Milan , Mr Beppe Fumagalli, the CEO of Candy Group, told the company’s American dealers about the developments in the field. And now in April 2014. A ready to use concept was shown at the exhibition.

You don’t have to explain over the phone to a service engineer, confusing words and terms, that you are suspicious about the appliances: remote diagnostics is readily available and will save you a visit to the repairmen. And forgetting to turn them on is no longer a constant worry, even for the most absent-minded proprietor: everything is easily solved and controlled. The refrigerator will even be able to tell its owners what products they are running low on and what they need to buy. THE DOOR CONVERTS..

HIGHER CAPACITIES IN STANDARD SIZES

Maximizing interior volumes while maintaining standard exterior dimensions is one of this year’s trends. More and more try to fit refrigerators and washing machines, dishwashers and ovens. There are record-breaking models from Candy as well.

For example, the new Candy EliteMaxi oven has the largest capacity on the market: 78 liters in its standard 60 cm size, which means 40% extra space. You can place the trays on five different levels.

Models are available in which the user can “play around” with the volume. The idea is very original and, at first glance, simple. If you want, you can divide the oven into two chambers by inserting a special low thermal conductivity divider plate. In addition, in each small oven you will be able to set your own mode and cook different dishes at the same time. You can remove the sliding plate and you have one large oven instead of two.

All Elite series ovens, regardless of size, are equipped with interesting and very useful features when cooking.

Softcook function controls the distribution of humidity and temperature, the loss of moisture in food is reduced by up to 50%, which has a positive impact on the taste of food.

Instead of traditional lighting, it uses 14 LEDs inside the oven door. The lighting system is called U-SEE LED and is patented by Candy. Not only does it let you see every corner of your oven without any effort, it also saves you the most energy.

Softclose function provides more gentleness when closing the door. This design by Candy provides increased protection during daily use grease residues from the oven can be removed using steam – the Aquactiva function.

Since Candy appliances are designed in Italy – and not just anywhere – but in the Milan suburbs, it’s natural that the design is refined with simplicity and glamour. The third basket is suitable for long cutlery but smaller items coffee cups, saucers, graters can easily be placed in it as it is not flat by design.

Perfect Rapid Zone is a special zone inside the machine that can be used for a quick wash or for cleaning heavily soiled dishes. Reinforced washing is made possible by two additional washers, which are automatically activated by a series of programs.

VERTICAL FLAMES ON THIN METAL

The innovative hob of the Chengdu Elite stands out thanks to its avant-garde appearance and vertical burners. Every single cooking component such as the stainless steel pan supports or the double metal-coated control knobs are made from top-quality materials. The flame is perfectly vertical thanks to a new generation of burners on the hob. This provides improved heat distribution, which in turn leads to lower gas consumption and greater precision in cooking.

The Elite line of cooktops includes different models in 60 and 75 cm widths.

ITALIAN QUALITY COLD

The new refrigerators, which are part of Krio’s renowned Vital Evo line, were also unveiled. Two built-in models of 185 cm height with maximum volume of 292 l are designed in such a way that the refrigerating compartment has one more shelf than the traditional models. In addition, the refrigerators have a BioSafe compartment with a constant temperature from -2°C to +3°C. New Active LED lighting system replaces conventional bulbs. Energy-saving features have also been improved – the Maxi Krio Vital Evo fridges have energy class A+, which reduces energy consumption by up to 20% inclusive, compared to equivalent class A models with traditional technology.

SWEET COUPLE

Candy continues to delight small kitchen owners with interesting combined appliances. Surely many people remember the hit from Candy, the TRIO stove that combined a stove and a dishwasher.
