Caffè Normandy

You need:

  • Caffè Normandie

    50 ml of strong coffee filtered coffee or espresso, brewed at the rate of 75 grams of coffee per liter of water

  • 50 ml of apple juice

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar to taste

  • 3 oranges cut into thin slices

  • 2 vanilla pods

  • 1 pinch of 5 seasoning mix

  • 1 pinch of ground cloves

  • Cinnamon stick as a garnish

  • Preparation for 4 persons

    Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to the boil over medium heat, then lower the heat and leave for 10 minutes.

    Pour the mixture into a preheated pitcher and then strain into cappuccino cups, adding 1 vanilla stick to each.

    Tip: you can make your drink alcoholic by adding Calvados instead of 1/4 of apple juice at the moment when you reduced the heat in step 1 . Just don’t let the calvados boil.
