CONTROL
Everything is very clear and simple: The buttons on the control panel are all signed – no room for error. First press the button Power, the program menu with the ice-cream program appears on the display. If you want another mode, just press the Menu button again. Each mode is indicated by a graphic sign: ice cream – ice cream cone, ice – snowflakes, yogurt – milk carton.
In addition to the icon, the display contains the default cooking time and the current temperature. If you need to change the time, press the Timer button. In Ice cream and Ice mode you can set time 60/ 50/40/30 and 10 min., in Yogurt mode – 0 to 24, in 1 hour increments.
The control of making yogurt and ice cream
To start the ice cream maker press the START button. You can add more cooking time to ice cream or ice while it is cooking by pressing the Timer button. An audible beep will sound when it is finished.
Defrost button activated for 3 minutes, this will make it easier to remove the badly frozen contents of the bowl. This function works when the Freeze and Ice Cream functions are enabled.
If you need to interrupt cooking, you need to press the power button.
SECURITY
The motor protection function is triggered at the moment when the frozen mass becomes as solid as possible and excessive force is required by the motor to rotate the blade. The motor is blocked and the appliance goes into Cooling mode.

Before BRAND 3812, compressor ice cream machines were super expensive and cost approximately the same as a big two-compartment refrigerator. This one is also quite affordable and several times cheaper than its counterparts.
It was all the more fun to test it out.
I made Berry Ice Cream, it’s my family’s favorite. So, in a blender I mix strawberries, cream and sugar. I’ll be honest, I added all the ingredients by eye.
I put the removable bowl in the fixed bowl, inserted the paddle for mixing, poured the mixture. Closed everything with the lid, installed the motor unit, plugged the appliance in, pressed the power button. The Ice Cream Menu popped up, so I pressed Start and went to get my guests.
The ice cream maker was in the back room, but I didn’t bother with it at all: the machine is absolutely autonomous and does everything by itself.
Naturally, after an hour our merry company was not yet ready to proceed to dessert. We were laughing and chatting so loudly at the table that I didn’t hear the end-of-life sound indicator. But it doesn’t matter and it doesn’t matter: in 10 minutes the smart ice cream maker automatically switches to Cooling mode: during one hour every 10 minutes the cooling cycle will start and the ice cream will stay cold. By this time, the children had already left the communal table and run off to play in the room where the appliance was. After about half an hour, my daughter dashed into the kitchen, grabbed the saucers and spoons and ran away. Anyway, when the adults were “ripe” for dessert, it was gone. The kids ate it all… That’s the highest appraisal for the dessert and the appliance!
WORK ASSESSMENT
Compressor ice cream maker combines the functions of a freezer and a blender: in this model ice cream is cooled while stirring continuously and evenly. Thanks to the constantly low temperature, the freezing process freezes quickly and properly. Basically, for compressor ice cream machines all kinds of this delicacy can be made, and you can even cook champagne sorbet.
Another advantage of the compressor appliance is the ability to cook several servings per day. After 1 cycle, the freezer is ready to use in 10 minutes semi-automatic ice cream machines can only make 1 portion per day, and that’s 500-700 g maximum .

YOGURT
The great thing is that you can also make homemade yoghurt in the same appliance: natural, thick, with no additives or colors.
For this there is a special plastic container with a lid. Marks the amount of yogurt on the side of the unit – very convenient. For a liter of milk, I added a cup of natural yogurt bought in the store, mixed it all, poured into a bowl, covered with a lid and put it in a fixed bowl of the device. Plugged in the freezer, pressed the Menu to get the Yogurt mode label. I did not change the time – 8 hours is fine.
The display shows the current temperature and a countdown of time. Yoghurt is prepared at 38° C⁰-40° C.
During yogurt preparation the heating periodically turns on and shuts off after some time. Therefore, the process is noisier than when making yogurt in a multicooker, for example. The noise is comparable to that of Soviet refrigerators. Simply place the ice cream maker where it will not disturb anyone.
When the time expired, the beep sounded. If you do not come to the device, do not worry: the ice cream maker switches to Cooling mode, and the yogurt is stored for 5 hours as in a refrigerator at a temperature of +2 ° to +8 ° C.
I got a liter of great yogurt. And it can be kept in the refrigerator in the same container.

The third function of this appliance is making ice. During one cycle, which takes 1 hour, the device converts approximately 280 ml of water into ice. You can also make ice out of juice or herbs.
For preparation very interesting accessories are provided: a container in which water is poured and 2 rubberized forms with cells are inserted. Simple procedure: Ice cream bowl is inserted into the bowl. Water is poured into a special bowl and the molds are carefully placed there. When I poured the water in, it was less than a third of the capacity, and I even double-checked the amount of water with a different measuring cup.
But when I put the molds in, the water covered them completely, i.e.e. I did everything right. And then it’s a matter of technique: a container with the molds is placed in the bowl, the lid is put on top the same as for making ice cream , and the motor unit is installed. Ice cream maker is plugged in, appropriate mode is selected in Menu and – start! It counts down the time and the indicator shows the real temperature.
The buzzer sounds an hour later. According to the instructions, I turned on the Defrost mode, which activates for 3 minutes. At the end of its work took out a bowl, from it the container in the “ice” coat. I can’t say that the cup fell out of the bowl very easily, I had to wait for about 30 seconds, but the ice came out as neat little briquettes. You can’t say it’s a big amount, but it’s enough to make Mojitos for 4 people. And the freezer is ready to freeze the next batch of water.

OUR EVALUATION
BRAND surprised and delighted by introducing to the market a combi-machine that performs multiple functions. Even just a compressor ice cream maker at this price is already a sensation! And then there’s the yogurt maker and the ice maker! All in all, everything for a holiday every day.
And, importantly, the device is quite compact when compared to other compressor-based ice cream makers. It’s not small, but it’s not as bulky as many competitors.
