AOC, one of the world’s leading brands in the monitor market, presents a new line of G2. The series consists of four models with Full HD resolution 1920×1080 pixels : 27-inch 68.6 cm 27G2U and 27G2U5, as well as 23.8-inch 60.4 cm 24G2U and 24G2U5. All models feature an aggressive, modern design with red accents on front and back panels and a 130mm height adjustable stand for better ergonomics.
Smooth gameplay and striking visuals
The 27-inch 27G2U and 23.8-inch 24G2U feature IPS panels with sRGB color gamut of 120% and 126%, respectively, which provide natural color reproduction and stunning visual effects. With their high refresh rate of 144Hz and 1ms response time, these monitors offer a smoother gaming experience and are suitable for any gamer, including fans of fast-paced shooters, online multi-player games, and more.
Fans of quiet games, such as strategy and quests, don’t usually need a very high refresh rate. The best choice for them are 27G2U5 and 24G2U5, working at 75 Hz. Both models provide better quality compared to conventional monitors with a frequency of 60 Hz. New products are also equipped with IPS panels, which guarantee wide viewing angles of 178 °/178 ° and saturated bright colors. MPRT 1ms response time and FreeSync support will ensure a smooth gaming experience. All models offer a luminance of 250 cd/m², making them suitable for use in a wide range of lighting conditions.
Special features for gamers
G2 series has a number of special gaming features. Low Input Lag ensures that users get visual feedback after any action without noticeable delay. Adjusting the AOC Game Color will increase or decrease the color saturation, allowing gamers to better see their opponents and get an advantage over them. Dial Point feature places the sight in the center of the screen, allowing you to aim more accurately. FlickerFree technology and Low Blue Light mode will help you tolerate long gaming sessions more comfortably. Finally, it comes with new and improved software to adjust all necessary settings.
Connecting
All four models feature two HDMI interfaces, a DisplayPort connector for connecting various sources, and a VGA input for legacy computers. Headsets can be plugged into the headphone output, or the 2W speakers are built in. Built-in USB hub allows you to connect peripherals such as keyboard and or mouse, making your workplace more neat.
Price and Affordability
The new line of monitors made its European premiere at the world’s largest gaming exhibition, gamescom, held in Cologne, Germany, August 20-24, 2019.
