Ballu air curtains turn off the heat and the cold

The first barrier to outside air is the BALLU STELLA range of heat curtains, which are installed above or on both sides of the entrance. Such devices create a powerful air flow, which cuts off the cold air and prevents the outflow of warm air from the room on the street through the opening doors. They are indispensable in subways, restaurants and cafes, hotels and shopping malls, museums and banks – any public place with high traffic volume.

STELLA air curtains can also be useful in the summer: they can operate in ventilation mode, preventing hot outside air from getting into the air conditioned room, and protect against insects, street dust, and poplar fuzz.

Depending on the model, the air curtains are equipped with 5 or 6 powerful EBM PAPST centrifugal fans made in Germany , each with its own motor. Fans draw air through the rear perforated grille and blow it through a series of finned elements or a water heat exchanger. The air then enters the high pressure chamber, from where it is discharged through the adjustable outlet nozzle as a dense stream of air, evenly distributed throughout the height of the air curtain. The special design of the units ensures that the noise level is kept to a minimum.

Thermal power of air curtains, depending on the model, is 18 or 24 kW for electric models, and for units with water heat exchanger – 35 and 44 kW. The maximum air output reaches 4,700 or 5,600 m³/ch.

Depending on the features of the interior of the entrance area of the air curtain can be made of mirror, brushed or gold decorative stainless steel.

STELLA air curtains can be mounted on the floor next to the entrance door, and the special design of the base allows you to hide all the mounting elements and electrical circuits. The symmetrical housing and mounting holes on both ends make it possible to bring power to the bottom or top of the unit.
