Yongnuo has released an ultra-wide angle lens 14mm f 2.8 with manual and auto focus support. The new lens has a 114 degree angle of view and is said to be well suited to landscape and architectural photography.
The double aspherical lens element in the optical design, one of which is made of ultra-low dispersion glass, minimizes aberrations and delivers high image quality. The optical design also includes one high-precision anomalous dispersion glass element and one ultra-high refractive index glass element.
All elements are coated with a multi-layer antireflection coating to increase light transmission and enhance contrast by suppressing flare. The aperture of the lens has 7 blades and allows a 14-beam star effect when reducing the aperture. Focal length indicator on the lens lets you judge the depth of field and distance to your subject
The lens mount is precision-manufactured and made of chrome-plated metal for excellent compatibility with the camera, durability and corrosion protection. Gold plated bayonet contacts for improved signal pathways. The USB port allows you to download the latest firmware and gives you the best lens compatibility and performance
