A3 color laser MFPs for medium-sized workgroups. e-studio2051c and e-studio2551C are the new 2012 additions to Toshiba’s range of full-color multifunction devices. On sale in the summer of 2012. By its characteristics, it’s an entry-level A3-format MFP. The machines are designed for medium and large workgroups for those who want to print in color, using A4 and A3 format, but not to pay for unnecessary functions. Toshiba has simplified the new machines to the maximum, so they can afford even those who previously considered color an expensive pleasure.

The machines in basic configuration offer network printing, copying and scanning. If necessary, a user can buy a 100-sheet reversible automatic document feeder and a fax module. It is impossible to install any finishing options on these devices. The only difference between e-studio2051c and e-studio2551C models is their speed – they print in color and monochrome up to 20 and 25 pages per minute, respectively.

Considering the “heavy weight” of modern print jobs, the multifunctional devices are equipped with 2 GB of memory and an 8 GB hard drive. Gigabit Ethernet is available for fast teamwork. The scanned files users can choose between the following formats: JPEG, Multi/ Single Page TIFF/PDF, Secure PDF, and Slim PDF can be sent directly from the scanner to a USB drive as an email attachment, to FTP, or to a network folder. TWAIN scanning available.

The manufacturer has provided the ability to increase the paper load up to 2000 sheets standard equipment involves feeding through a 250-sheet cassette and a 100-sheet multi-function tray . MFPs support printing on 60-163 g/m2 media when fed through the paper cassette, and up to 209 g/m2 paper can be fed through the multi-function tray.

MFPs have a user-friendly control panel with a wide color touch screen. Intuitive menu navigation allows quick access to functions.
