The Optio LS465 offers Face Detection AF&AE, which detects the faces of people in the frame and automatically optimises exposure and focus settings. The camera also has handy tools designed to easily create beautiful, vivid fleeting shots, such as Smile Capture mode, which automatically takes a picture as soon as the person in the frame smiles and Natural Skin mode, which gives the face in the frame soft and natural tones.
The Optio LS465 lets you shoot great videos in HD* 1280 x 720 pixels, 16:9 aspect ratio at 30 frames per second. The camera has a dedicated movie recording button on the back, letting you instantly start recording video whenever the camera is in Photo Mode. The camera is also equipped with a Movie SR Shake Reduction advanced stabilization mode,** which automatically compensates for camera shake when shooting video with special software processing.
