The Huawei Honor 6 smartphone test: the Chinese wonder is cooler than the Apple one?

In recent years, the Chinese consumer electronics market is experiencing a boom in. This is reflected not only in the constant growth of variety and quality of Chinese products, but perhaps more importantly, in a change of perception by Chinese manufacturers. If just a few years ago they were quite satisfied with the role of faceless and nameless assemblers of other people’s products, then today the situation has changed dramatically. China is actively promoting its brands on global markets and does it not only energetically and assertively, but also very successfully.

Part 1.The hardware. Overall impression

One example of this success can be considered the company Huawei. The company has been around since 1987, yet for years it remained completely unknown outside of China. Today the company is confidently among the top five phone manufacturers in the world, and their top Ascend series smartphones are widely known in the old and new world, including the famous Ascend P6 model, which in 2013 became for a few months the thinnest smartphone in the world with a body thickness of 6 mm .

A little behind the flagship Ascend and smartphones Honor line, in particular, presented at the end of this summer Huawei Honor 6. This model is positioned below the top-of-the-line Huawei Ascend, but not much inferior to the flagships. Yes, the hero of our review can not boast of a metal body, but taking into account the fact that 80% of the Honor 6 body consists of glass, this does not prevent it from looking very stylish and noble. The Huawei Honor 6 by its “thoroughbred” appearance harmoniously ranks with such recognized samples of techno-design as Apple iPhone or Sony Xperia Z.

Body and design

The new Huawei Honor 6 attracts attention with its strict and stylish design. It looks like a thin glass block with a dark gray plastic edge resembling brushed metal we got our hands on a black model, in addition to it, the smartphone also comes in America in white . The corners are rounded, but not too much. Looks quite premium. What is nice, the severity of the smartphone is not defiled so beloved in Asia silver inlays in the most unexpected places. In fact, the only bright element on the glossy black is the small Honor logo on the back panel.

What is interesting, the word Huawei is present only in the inscription “Powered by Huawei” very small print . Obviously, the Chinese have realized the unsoundness of the brand for the American ear and now intend to promote exclusively the sub-brand Honor.

The front panel of the smartphone is almost entirely given to a five-inch LCD screen, which, thanks to the very narrow frame only 2.86 mm covers 75.7% of the front area. In addition to the screen at the front there is only a speaker top center , the front camera to the right of it, and on the left – light sensor and proximity sensor.

LED indicator is hidden in the same place. The entire front panel of the smartphone is covered by protective glass Gorilla Glass third generation, safely protecting the smartphone from shocks and scratches. The protective glass has an oleophobic coating: not that there are no fingerprints on the screen at all, there are, but they are not very bright and, most importantly, they are easily erased.

The left side of the device is absolutely free from connectors, and the right side has a volume control at the top , under it – the power button, even lower – a blank behind which are hidden slots for a SIM-card micro-SIM format and memory card microSD . Lower end placed micro-USB port and a microphone. On top are a mini-Jack 3.5mm jack, an infrared port that lets you use the Honor 6 as a smart remote, and another microphone.

The back of the smartphone is made of black glass. In the middle of the glass panel there is a silver “Honor” logo. In the upper left corner is the main camera, the peephole of which is framed by a metal ring. Next to the camera is a dual LED flash both LEDs are white .

Huawei

Honor 6 – rear view – close-up lens

Lower left corner has black speaker grill. By the way, the location of the speaker is such that if you put the phone screen up on the table, the tight contact of smooth surfaces noticeably muffles the sound. On the other hand the speaker itself is quite loud, so it is still clearly audible.

What can be said about the assembly? Nothing in general. In the sense that there is absolutely nothing to complain about: all the parts fit together perfectly, no backlashes or cracks were seen. No HairGate was used, so neither the author’s hair nor his beard were damaged.

Well made and buttons: they have a soft, long enough stroke, perfectly fixed tactile. You can feel how it clicks and it is accompanied by a quiet but audible click. The only thing that caused some inconvenience was the location of the keys. Considering how many Chinese smartphones have the volume rocker and power button next to each other, they probably like it that way, but the author of this review does not think so: the separate placement of these keys significantly reduces the chance of mistakenly pressing and even provide a more comfortable grip, for example when reading using the volume buttons to turn pages.

Despite the large 5-inch screen, the device is relatively compact. In particular, it has almost the same dimensions as the “old” Galaxy with a screen of 4.5 inches. Thanks for this, of course, should be narrow frames around the screen.

Delivered Huawei Honor 6 in a small box of bright blue thick cardboard. At the top of the box is the Honor logo, the same silver it appears on the back of the phone.

In the box, in addition to the unit itself, there is a wired headset quite ordinary earbuds , wire USB-micro-USB and charger with a charging current of 2A. All accessories are made in white and carry the Huawei logos. Also included are two protective films – for the front and back panels.

Display

When creating the Honor 6, Huawei developers didn’t skimp on the screen: the display is quite bright, contrasty and clear. It was impossible to detect any irregularity of backlighting on the screen surface by eye.

As already mentioned, the screen is built on a five-inch LCD matrix from JDL with a resolution of Full HD 1920×1080 dots, created by IPS technology. Thus, the pixel density on the screen is 441 ppi: even holding the phone up to your nose, you can’t see the screen’s graininess.

The quality of color rendering is pleasantly pleased, but this developers, it seems, was not enough. That is why they implemented a smartphone function manual color temperature. So gourmands have the opportunity to “tweak” the picture for themselves.

The touch sensor is Incell, meaning it’s built right into the LCD screen, reducing its thickness and eliminating any extra air gaps. Touch sensor detects up to ten simultaneous touches.

Sensitivity of the sensor is so high that the phone can work with gloves on. At least wool and not thick leather gloves do not really interfere with the touch sensor. And even with the glove feature turned off, the sensitivity is such that it responds to touch even through a couple of layers of fine cotton fabric.

Hardware platform

“By the clothes” we met our hero, now let’s see what he has inside. And inside we see the same respectable fruits of Chinese persistence and diligence.

Thanks to the fact that Huawei has its own processor manufacturer, HiSilicon, it has put its own chips in smartphones before. But the systems of the previous generation K3 were noticeably weaker than the competition and were distinguished mainly by their low price.

But now in the range of the company there is a really powerful solution called Kirin 920. This eight-core processor is built on a big.LITTLE, that is, it has two processor clusters of four cores each. One is a powerful high-performance cores ARM Cortex-A15, running at 1.7-2.0 GHz, the other – four economical Cortex-A7 cores running at 1.3 – 1.7 GHz. Quad-core Mali-T628MP4 GPU with OpenGL ES 3 support is responsible for the graphics.0.

Experts estimate the performance of the Kirin 920 to be on par with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 that powers most of this year’s flagships. For our part we will also put the smartphone to the test of computing capabilities, but more about that later.

The phone is equipped with 3 GB of RAM, which can not fail to please, and carries on board a flash drive with a capacity of 16 GB. MicroSD card slot we already mentioned. The manufacturer guarantees trouble-free operation of the device with microSDXC cards up to 64GB, but most likely with cards of 128GB will be fine we, unfortunately, were unable to find at hand such a card to check .

Naturally, the phone is equipped with two cameras: the front one has a resolution of 5 megapixels, so it will be good not only for video calls, but will also please selfies lovers. The main camera is equipped with a sensor IMX214 from Sony with a resolution of 13 megapixels, made by BSI technology. The camera lens has a brightness of f/2.0. But more about its features we’ll talk separately.

A set of telecommunication interfaces of Huawei Honor 6 is quite usual. Smartphone supports second generation mobile networks GSM 850/900/180/1900 , also the third the model for the American market works in UMTS , and the fourth generation model H60-l04, delivered in our country officially, has no problems with connecting to LTE networks of American operators . There is support for wireless interface Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n .

Supports the smartphone and the global positioning system GPS, but support for GLONASS is absent, in contrast to the flagship lineup Ascend.

Of the less obvious functions: there is an FM radio and an infrared port but, for some reason, in the official firmware is no program to control home appliances. However, it can always be downloaded from Google Play .

And finally, a few words about the battery. As you know, power is the Achilles heel of all modern mobile electronics. Computing capabilities of smartphones are growing, the size is decreasing, and the batteries are not keeping up with this process in any way. It’s nice to note that the developers took care of a powerful hardware platform and a powerful battery: Huawei Honor 6 uses a built-in lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 3100 Ah. Even by initial estimates, we can conclude that under average load, the smartphone can easily work without charging for a couple of days. We’ll subject it to more severe tests a little later.

In general, the “stuffing” of a newcomer is not worse than its imposing appearance. In the next part of our review we will look at the official firmware and examine the standard set of programs. And then we will try to find out to what extent Huawei Honor 6 is able to reveal its rich hardware features.

Part 2.The operating system and programs

In the first part of this article we shared our general impressions about the appearance of the smartphone and its functionality. The second part we’ll focus on the software. Then we will consider the work of the camera.

Hyuawei software shell

Traditionally, Huawei installs on their smartphones “doped” version of the operating system Android. In the model supplied to the territory of America, pre-installed Android KitKat 4 OS.4.2, augmented by its own Emotion UI version 2.3.

Phones and communications

EMUI Screenshot

One of the goals that the developers pursued – to stand out their smartphones from the faceless crowd. But such things are usually done at the level of branding. A more important task in creating new user interfaces is to change the “original” logic of communication between the user and the smartphone to another, better from the point of view of its developers.

The distinctive feature of this interface shell which makes it similar to another Chinese shell – MIUI from Xiaomi is that this user interface does not have such an important part as a menu of installed applications. As you install programs, their shortcuts are automatically tossed onto the desktops, and the user then tries to find what he needs in this jumble. Just like the littered desktops of Windows desktops.

Such “mahjong” every day. Yes, the order can be cleaned up by grouping shortcuts into folders, available in all versions of Android, starting from the time of King Gorokh. Why is it done like this? It is not clear. Maybe it’s the specifics of the Chinese mentality, or maybe it’s total forgetfulness: if all the icons are in plain sight, you won’t forget you’ve installed new programs.

As a result, the user can have, well, a lot of screens: eight initially, but you can add new ones as you fill them up. It is important to note that the screens are not looped. That is, as you scroll to the last one, you’ll hit “the wall,” after which you’ll have to scroll backwards.

However, there is one quite funny mode as part of EMUI – “simple style of the work screen”. If you select it e.g. Settings>Style of Work. screen”>”Simple” you’ll put your smartphone in a rather unusual mode. The appearance of the screen somewhat reminiscent of Windows Phone with its large tile buttons. The number of applications available in this mode is minimal, but all of them are easily accessible. A kind of software “granny phone.

The simple look of the screen

Another mode of the Honor 6, similar to the previous one, is the power saving mode Settings> Power Saving . In this mode, the screen switches to a black and white screen, only SMS and voice calls are available, all the few available functions are reduced to one ascetic screen. It is clear that no normal person would use it every day why would you buy a smartphone at all?? . But if you’re waiting for an important call, the battery runs out, and to the nearest outlet a couple of days to the deer, that’s when this ugly but practical mode and will allow “to stand a day, but the night lasts”.

Smartphones

Branded applications

However, the changes affect not only the desktop. In particular, the system is integrated program to free resources RAM and flash memory space . In its behavior and design the built-in application is very similar to the famous Clean Master, here it is called “Phone Manager”.

Photo equipment

Screenshot phone manager

Photo equipment

Phone manager Screenshot

The application is installed in the menu of recently started programs. So the menu always shows the amount of available and used RAM, so the user can directly from this menu “clean up” the smartphone from the stale applications in memory.

Traditionally rich set of quick settings, hiding in the upper curtain. Thus, most of the frequently used functions can be quickly turned on and off without entering the settings menu. Of “alas” should be noted the lack of opportunities to customize the set of buttons: if many of the buttons you do not use, you might want to remove them at all, or at least hide them in the “extended part” of the curtain, and the quick access to leave only the most necessary.

Smartphones

The second “alas” is the inability to call function settings from the shutter. So, in the “vanilla” Android you can not only turn on off Wi-Fi, but also with a long press to get to its settings. In EMUI you have to enter the settings menu.

Not so useful, but very nice proprietary screen unlocking program “Magazine Unlock”. It stores a small collection of pretty pictures, which it displays every time you turn on the screen. Collections are updated from time to time.

Smartphones

Magzine Unlock Screenshot

Another program that is more beautiful than useful is Themes. Basically, it doesn’t do anything fundamentally new beyond what Android can do, but it makes it a lot easier. With one click on the favorite theme, you can change settings such as the lock screen style, desktop wallpaper, a set of icons for system applications, fonts and sounds. Three themes are preinstalled on the smartphone, but fortunately, this is not the only thing: even now you can download dozens of available design themes, and they are all free.

Photo equipment

Screenshot Themes

In general, a set of small but useful applications is quite rich: here and simple notes, voice recorder, flashlight and a number of others. There are, for example, a couple of rather funny programs: “Lupa”, as understandable from the name reproduces on the screen enlargement picture from the main camera, and the program “Mirror”… it is a mirror.

Besides, there is such a useful program as “Backups” which allows to protect yourself from unpleasant surprises connected with loss of important data and settings.

Out of a bit strange – the program to install programs from smartphone apk-packages: it is absolutely unclear why to keep a separate application for this purpose when any more or less advanced file manager implements a similar functionality. It seems that this is the point: the regular file manager is helpless and almost completely useless.

Other applications

There is a preinstalled Kingsoft Office application, which allows not only to view but also to edit office documents in many popular formats, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point. The application is quite nice, “omnivorous” and handy. Besides working with local files, it has native support for working with various cloud storages: there is built-in support for Dropbox, Google Drive, Box, SkyDrive, and a universal means of access based on WebDAV, which, in particular, allows you to “add” Yandex.Disk or Cloud Mail.

In addition, the American version of the Huawei smartphone is preinstalled a number of programs that are popular in our country. These are primarily Yandex services “Yandex. Search”, “Yandex. Maps , as well as the mobile browser Opera.

Camera

Huawei is clearly paying a lot of attention to both cameras in the Honor 6. In particular, the public’s attention is drawn to the advanced 5-megapixel front camera, which is great for self-portraits. Even more opportunities open up to the photographer when using the main camera in combination with the improved “smart” photo mode.

Camera app

In general, the camera app has not undergone significant changes compared to the original program from Google. Nevertheless, there are changes, and they lurk, first of all, in the menu.

Photographer can choose between “normal” photography, “smart” mode, as well as “Beautification”, HDR, “Panorama” and effects. The camera can focus on smiling faces caught in the frame, take photos at the touch of the screen, write geo-tags into the photo files and add audio.

In general, the photographic application Huawei showed itself quite good, although, say, many competitors cameras have more features.

Test of photographic capabilities Huawei Honor 6

To test its photographic capabilities, the Huawei Honor 6 smartphone was taken on a trip to Venice

city, where you could hope for an abundance of beautiful scenes, and in addition, the application conditions are typical for a smartphone

came, saw, snatched and shot. All photographic settings were left in the “default” state, although, as practice has shown, for species and street scenes it is better to disable the flash, which was done subsequently.

The first conclusion that can be made on the basis of the test shooting

The smartphone honestly tries to take better pictures, and for that alone it’s already worthy of praise. In sufficient light, the results are pleasing, and if we talk about posting to a blog or viewing on a computer screen

It’s everything you need to share your impressions or preserve pleasant memories of a trip, and hardly anyone sets other, more ambitious tasks, like printing posters, to the smartphone. If, however, the lighting falls

And in winter Venice, the dusky skies took up a good part of the day

you’d better shoot a few test shots in the hope that the risk of getting a blurred shot, which you can’t rule out at twilight, will be neutralized by the presence of takes.

In the captured footage one should first of all note the correctness of exposure

shots taken on the fly, from brightly lit scenes to stiff silhouettes, there were no complaints about the brightness of the. Resolution in good light is more than enough for viewing on the screen, the details are quite enough for an interesting transfer of any texture. Good colors and white balance. As always, when shooting scenes in which deep shadows occupy a large part of the frame, it is better to check the result on the screen and, if necessary, re-take

Exposure detection in such cases is a challenge not only for smartphones, but also for the most professional photographic equipment. You also need to use the zoom with caution

Even in moderate light, there can be a noticeable degradation of image quality, and even in semi-darkness, there is a serious risk of getting a blurry, washed out picture.

The smartphone is the perfect size and weight to hold comfortably in your hand, except for one point below. It takes a minimum of time to turn on the camera if the smartphone has been switched to sleep mode with the camera turned on

it is activated immediately upon “waking up” the device. Focuses quickly, though not instantly if the light is low. The built-in lens provides a fairly wide shooting angle, so there’s usually no problem with the task of “getting everything in the frame”, and if you need to narrow down the scope

the two buttons on the edge of the smartphone quickly change the “focal distance”.

Conclusion: practical tests the photographic part of the Huawei Honor 6 has passed and deserves a good assessment. Of course, you don’t have to set the smartphone impossible tasks – it’s not a DSLR after all, but what it can, or rather, what it is designed to do – it does decently. The advantages of the smartphone – excellent exposure metering and color reproduction, quite sufficient sharpness in good light. Another big plus that opened up after shooting

Possibility of post-processing the frames taken, for this smartphone has a lot of interesting filters and gives free rein to the creative imagination. Good battery life. And, of course, the main thing is

Always ready to capture the unexpected.

Of the minuses, two things can be mentioned:

1 maybe it’s my personal problem, but placing the lens too close to the corner of the body causes the little finger of my left hand if you shoot horizontally to partially cover the corner of the frame. You have to keep an eye on it, and for a spontaneous shot, it threatens to miss an interesting moment. When shooting vertical shots everything is perfect.

2 the second disadvantage

When I look through the footage the smartphone interprets the movements of my finger on the screen to scroll through the frames in its own way and it constantly offers its services: trimming, sending by mail, applying a filter. If you don’t want any of that and you want to go back to the album, you have to go back to the beginning of the album almost every time. If you’ve shot a lot of images and you’ve managed to get too far away when you look at them

This could spoil the mood. It is possible that with further use you can get the knack and avoid this situation, but it would be better to somehow rewire the smartphone so that when you abandon unnecessary at the moment options to return to the just viewed frame.

Part 3. Measurement tests

Finally, we come to the final part of the review of the Huawei Honor 6 smartphone. We discussed the ergonomics of the smartphone, got impressions from interacting with its software, and tested the camera. It’s time to believe the computing capabilities of the Chinese wonder with unbiased tests, translating everything into the language of stingy numbers.

Fortunately, the Android platform today provides a large number of all kinds of test applications, including cross-platform, which allow you to objectively compare the devices created on different platforms.

Test results

We will begin our tests with a set of test applications – Antutu Benchmark. A big plus of this set is its versatility: it covers the performance of the processor in integer and real operations , graphics subsystem, memory, both RAM and storage, as well as such an important performance aspect as the speed of working with databases databases are now literally in all more or less large programs .

In this test the hero of our review received 39267 “parrots” conditional units . This result is worse than, say, the Samsung Galaxy S5 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor – 46557 points, or HTC M8 – 45138 points, but better than the LG G3 – 39132 points. Thus, the Honor 6 showed quite competitive overall performance.

Another version of the same benchmark created specifically for Chinese gadgets, designed to fight “cheating” test results – Antutu X Benchmark v5.1.5 showed similar results – 39601 points, confirming the high performance of the Honor 6 and the honesty of Huawei.

Smartphones

Antutu X Benchmark Screenshot

No less “width” is also distinguished by the following test package – Geekbench 3 v3.2.2 . Its great advantage is that the test gives not only general results, but also the results for specific operations, such as encryption, archives, image files, etc.d. Here we will not discuss each result in detail, it would require a separate long article. If you want, you can conduct your own tests too, all the test results are listed.

Geekbench 3 total: 853 points in single-processor mode and 2732 in multiprocessor mode other testers, according to the website of the creators of the benchmark, Huawei Honor 6 gave up to 3191 points . That is, we see very good scalability – when using all four cores of the cluster performance increased by 3.2 times the rest “eaten” by the inevitable delays and overhead .

According to the results of this test, Honor 6 was the most productive of Huawei smartphones. It is slightly ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S5 2886 , HTC One 2650 to 2975 and iPhone 6 2841 to 2924 .

Great result!

The next popular test is the Vellamo package v3.1 . In its composition, as well as in the Antutu test, the tests in the processing of HTML 5. Access to the Internet and a variety of web content we need all the time, and html-technology has already gone far beyond the usual web-pages, becoming the basis for user interfaces for a new generation of programs. No wonder the developers of benchmarks pay so much attention to this aspect of gadget performance.

Another group of tests, Metal, is focused on pure calculations with integers and real numbers.

Finally, the third group is Multicore, designed to test the gadget’s ability to perform multi-threaded computing.

As you can see from the screenshots, Huawei Honor 6 joins a dense group of competitors – Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, LG G3, being about on par with them, somewhere a little behind, somewhere ahead. Despite its relatively thin shell, glass and plastic which are bad conductors of heat , our hero shows consistently low temperature. Somehow Chinese engineers managed to avoid the problem of overheating and still provide such high performance.

Let’s move from universal tests to more specialized ones. One of the most resource intensive applications of smartphones and tablets, is, of course, games. And today’s beautiful and spectacular games require gadgets to have a lot of performance from their graphics subsystems.

One of the most famous tests of gaming performance is 3DMark v1.3.1439 . Despite the fact that the test package appeared on the Android platform relatively recently, it definitely needs an update: two tests of the three standard and extreme , designed for fragile devices are almost irrelevant, today even a weak smartphone in these tests literally overclocked. So we are left with the most advanced test – Ice Storm Unlimited. In it Huawei Honor 6 scored 11383 “parrots”, giving way to the Galaxy S5 18190 and LG G3 15617 . This test was not very favorable to Huawei.

And what about the other graphics benchmarks? Take GFXBench v3 .0.23 . It is based on two high-level tests with complex graphics. The first one is Manhattan with lots of objects and light sources, the second one is T-Rex with multi-polygonal models and using Open GL ES 2 graphics engine.0. In the first test Huawei Honor 6 scored 541 points, for comparison, the result of iPhone 6 is 1651, Galaxy S5 – 1169. The second test – similarly: Honor 6 – 975, iPhone 6 – 2816, Galaxy S5 – 2737 points.

For some reason, despite the advanced quad-core GPU, the Huawei smartphone fails to demonstrate its capabilities in games. But in the battery life test Huawei Honor 6 and iPhone 6 are literally neck and neck – 137 and 138 minutes, respectively Galaxy S5 with Qualcomm processor did not pass this test, so we can’t compare with it .

What else gadgets have to demonstrate high multimedia capabilities is in video playback, especially since with the abundance of high-quality content and high-resolution screens, users are increasingly watching movies in high resolution.

To test the ability of mobile devices to play video content, developers from Antutu created Video Tester current version – 2.2 . As the test shows, Huawei Honor 6 has an enviable “omnivorousness” in terms of video and audio codec formats. In this test it scored 500 points, which is a very good result: on this parameter our hero was on par with the Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One M8, noticeably leaving out the Galaxy S5.

Finally, one of the most important parameters of any mobile device is its battery life. In this case, of course, in different conditions this time will be different.

When using the smartphone for gaming, as we have already found, under maximum load Huawei Honor 6, according to GFXBench, shows a running time of 137 minutes.

When using the test from Antutu Tester v2.5 uses a slightly different approach. In this test, the device is sequentially loaded with video playback, then displaying web content, and then rendering a typical game scene. So, the program simulates the work of the gadget in conditions close to real life. The Huawei smartphone received 8586 points in the test and took first place in the rating of the program, which only confirmed our feelings.

Phones and connectivity

Another interesting test program – Battery Benchmark. It also tries to reproduce the smartphone’s performance “as it really is. Here the emphasis is not on multimedia, but on communication: the test program periodically starts and stops Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, performs network activity and loads the processor. That is, really, “as in life”. After long “mockery” it turned out that in this mode Huawei Honor 6 can work up to 14 hours: the battery was dead by 50% after 7 hours of work.

And finally, the traditional “live” test not all synthetic tests should be used – video playback. For our purposes we used Full HD video with 40 MB s video stream, packed with codecs h.264/aac to mp4 container. The film was played in cyclic playback in MX Player v1.7.31 . The decoder used in the playback was “Hardware”. As a result of long expectations, we discovered that the Huawei Honor 6 can spin high-quality video for 9 hours and 40 minutes. By the way, similar endurance can not show and many of the tablets!

As we see, the Chinese smartphone is very interesting and balanced.

On the one hand, it can not be called a champion of performance, especially when it comes to heavy games. On the other hand, it copes quite well with the most common games. Overall, its computing capabilities are more than enough for most situations in life.

At that the smartphone itself turned out to be not too big and heavy, and taking into account the 5-inch screen and enormous battery it was even quite small. Its sleek appearance allows you to put the brainchild of Huawei in one line with the best examples of modern smartphones.

One of the greatest strengths of the Huawei Honor 6 is its long battery life. So in some respects it is ready to give a head start not only to the nearest competing smartphones, but also to many tablets. The ability to charge a powerful and modern smartphone with a Full HD screen once every two or three days – that, you must agree, is very nice.
