DEEPCOOL invited professional modder Bill Owen to show his vision for TRISTELLAR case. The result is a unique TRISTELLAR S model inspired by the spaceships from the cult saga. Designed with perfection in mind, this case has been engineered for the most demanding gaming applications, with flagship graphics cards and water-cooling systems. New product is available in limited amount.
TRISTELLAR S has a robust steel construction with aluminum walls, as well as numerous vents and windows for observing the system operation. But materials are not the only difference from the original model. Bill Owen did the unbelievable: now the hull reminds one of Darth Vader’s three-winged imperial shuttle! TRISTELLAR S has a bellicose and sleek look that excites fans of space fantasy and original gaming systems.
TRISTELLAR S enclosure is a unique design consisting of three independent modules with separate cooling for the hottest components of a gaming computer. The top bay accommodates a flagship graphics card up to 320mm long with a three-story cooling system, three 2.5″ SSDs, and a 90mm fan to blow hot air out of the system. SSD bays are equipped with convenient screwless slide and support hot plugging.
The left compartment of Tristellar S is designed for a full size ATX power supply and two 3.5″ hard drives. Finally, you can fit a mini-ITX motherboard in a third module. There is also enough space for a low-profile cooler up to 85 mm high or a water-cooling radiator.
Other features of the TRISTELLAR S include two USB 3 ports.0 for connecting external peripherals, as well as audio jacks placed on the front panel. You can install an optical drive – one of the compartments supports slot-loading models.
The new product will be available in limited quantities in September 2015. Recommended retail price will be 40,664.99 Dollars.
I’m intrigued by the term “The Empire Strikes” in connection with DEEPCOOL’s TRISTELLAR case. Can you provide more details on this? Is it a reference to Star Wars or is there a more unique story behind it?
