FIRST IMPRESSION
The hair dryer is soft touch-coated in all of its crimson parts, which makes it easy to hold and does not slip. The delivery set has only one concentrator, but it is not a professional nozzle, because it is too wide. Alas, the plastic smells quite strong – this happens with inexpensive hair dryers. The smell is supposed to get rid of over time. Let’s see!
ERGONOMICS
The hair dryer has a comfortable handle, which fits well in the palm of your hand. The icon is based on the handles of professional hair dryers, which should be easy and comfortable for the stylist. It is also quite lightweight.
But the cord is non-professional: its length is standard 1,8 m, there is a special shock absorber at the place of connection of the cord to the handle of the hair dryer, which prevents twisting. The hanging loop is pretty big: the hair dryer can be hung on a hook of any thickness.
The nozzle is as long as a professional hair dryer, so it is convenient, too. It minimizes the possibility of hair suction of medium length hair in the air intake and is needed for hair flipping during their pulling – this technique every girl knows in theory, but in practice few people use, it is a hairdressing skill.
The buttons for switching modes are on the inside of the handle. There is no single point of view, as it is more convenient from the side, from the outside or inside, so it is difficult to assess objectively. No complaints in our test group: comfortable.
HYGIENICITY
The soft touch coating is comfortable and pleasant, but it cleans worse than the smooth one. But this hair dryer has a hooray! – hinged air inlet grill: it can always be cleaned. The fact that it is hinged and not detachable is good and not very good. On the one hand, it will not get lost. On the other hand if you want to wash it, you can’t just clean it, there’s a motor next to it.
SAFETY
The manufacturer recommends installing a RCD – ground fault interrupter – in the power supply circuit of the bathroom. There is an icon on the body – a crossed out tub of water “do not immerse in liquid” , but in a place where it is not visible.
It is interesting, that in the English version of the instruction is a warning in bold type: “Do not allow more than 10 minutes of operation to avoid overheating, and turn off the hair dryer for at least 10 minutes,” in the American version of this item for some reason simply deleted. It is written in the box that it has automatic shutdown in case of overheating, but this information is not present in the manual.
We kept it on for five minutes at max speed and temperature, which is enough for medium-length, thick hair. The hair dryer is not overheated, it’s fine. The body is hot, but not too hot to burn yourself. The nozzle is not very hot, there is a warning about this in the manual.
SALON USABILITY
Some sellers write that it is, but the manufacturer states only “salon level styling at home”. It is honestly in front of us household, but not professional hair dryer: it does not have a professional motor, designed for five years of work and daily salon weekdays, and does not have a three-meter cord, allowing the master to bypass the client from all sides.
NOISE
With a background noise level of 29-31 dB, the noise level is 71-73 dB at maximum and 79-81 dB in cool mode. When you switch the hair dryer from max 2 speed, 2 temperature mode , the noise level goes up a lot.
But the tone of the sound is not unpleasant, it doesn’t cause much discomfort.
HANDS-ON TESTING: DRYING AND STYLING
On the first speed at medium temperature – a gentle drying, quite suitable for fine, moderately thick hair of medium length. The hair dryer can be held up to 10 cm away from the hair, so it never feels uncomfortable. Ten minutes and your head is almost dry.
Drying on the second speed at medium temperature surprised that not only the airflow rate increases, but also the temperature. You have to move the hair dryer away from the head after about half a minute, about 25 to 30 cm, or it gets too hot!. This means that the temperature in this mode is not controlled precisely.
The smell of plastic did not evaporate during the test, but it was slow and hot on the first speed. The mode is more suitable for styling strands, so that they do not fly around, but just exposed to heat.
Second-speed drying at high temperature – only from a great distance. After about two minutes the air gets so hot that you have to switch modes. This mode is needed only for the beginning of drying, to dry the hair quickly, but you can’t stand it for long.
The cold blowing mode is the strong point of this dryer: it switches with a separate button and turns on the really cool air in a second – the contrast is very noticeable, the styled strands are well fixed.

The smell of plastic did not disappear during the test. “Medium” temperature mode at high blowing speed does not hold up precisely: the air overheats.
