The first impressions

A luxurious hair dryer. The effect is enhanced by the design of the air inlet grille: it looks like a flower. The snow white of the appliance enhances the luxurious feel of the dryer. It won’t go unnoticed.

Ergonomics

• The hair dryer is large with a slim, elegant handle that fits even in the fragile palm of a woman’s hand.
• The air inlet grill is very easy to remove, thanks to the latches.
• The attachments are easy to hold, but securely held in place. The nozzle gets very hot during styling.
• The cord is thin and not very long, as it is a hair dryer for domestic use, not for working with it in the salons.

The great thing about this model is that it has a light sensor. It works like this: you hold it in your hand during styling, and the sensor is covered by your hand. When you put your hair dryer down, the sensor opens and the hair dryer turns off automatically, no need to press the control buttons. It is a very useful option, and it is a pity that not all hair dryers have it.

• The eyelet for hanging up is not very big and a little bit too thin, in my opinion.
• Both the body and the handle are made of plastic, pleasant to the touch.
• The hair dryer is heavy, a sign of the “serious” stuffing, but with a long styling hand can get tired.

Controls

On the inner side of the handle are keys for airflow speed and temperature. They are not very convenient: shallow, a little bit tight, you have to make an effort to turn on the.

But the buttons of cold air blowing and a turbo-mode are perfectly made: large and easily responsive to a touch.

Next to the air inlet grille is a light indicator, which does not turn on when you turn on the cold blower.

On the back of the handle there is a light sensor with a “curtain.

The ionization is automatically activated, but there is no separate button for its activation.

Safety

Noise

Manufacturers position this model as a silent. At the same time, the claimed noise level – 75 dB. You can’t call this number very different from what other manufacturers specify for their products.

Our tests showed that, when the dryer is run at maximum speed, the noise level in the room rises by 35dB, which is about 5dB less than other dryers,.. so it does run a little quieter, but certainly not silently.

With the Sinometer BM300. The hair dryer ran for a few minutes, pointed at a cardboard box 15 cm away from the nozzle. Recorded the maximum value on the thermometer display.

The manufacturers website says that:

“Thanks to the unique Hydra Protect technology, the hair dryer does not dry out your hair and retains 25%** more natural moisture, giving a healthy shine to your hair”

. No one in the test group noticed any added shine to the hair during the test. Comfortably warm temperature, indeed, does not “burn” the hair, but this can not be called a feature of this hair dryer only.

The kit offers 2 nozzles. The concentrator is small and pretty narrow. The uneven edge of the nozzle makes the airflow more directed. In addition, the kit includes a diffuser, which will help in creating volume at the roots of hair.

The cold air button can be activated in any mode. After a few seconds, the airflow becomes noticeably cooler.

The turbo mode can also be activated at any time. The temperature and airflow increases.

AC motor, turbo mode, light sensor for automatic shut-off, reduced noise level, pleasant to the touch plastic.

Not very comfortable speed/temperature switch keys, the hair dryer is heavy.
