Strangely, the manual says that the plates are ceramic. There was a mistake?
Interesting design of the floating plates: in fact only one of them is mobile. And it is not just spring-loaded like the plates of many rectifiers, but the base swings out and down with an amplitude of about 2 mm. This allows the plates to grip the hair really gently and distribute the pressure evenly.

Control
With the buttons “+” and “-” you can select one of the 4 modes: 130, 150, 170 or 200 º C, the buttons are located on the side of the body – very convenient. To avoid accidentally knocking over the temperature setting, there is a temperature detent function. To use it, press the “+” or “-” button for 2 seconds – a padlock symbol lights up on the screen. To release the lock perform the same action. The temperature is shown on the display and the display shows 170 ºC in “7/7”, which means safe use at this temperature for 7 days a week.
Tweak
The numbers on the display are very small, 3 mm high, and not bright enough.
The manufacturer claims that the rectifier is ready for use within 30 seconds after it is switched on. We did a test: the plates heated up to a minimum operating temperature of 130 ºC in 101 seconds. I guess the working temperature is set to something lower.
This model has an automatic voltage switch 110-240V , which allows it to be used in any country of the world. No auto shut off. When we saw that there was no information in the manual about the automatic switch off, we ran a test: we left the device on for 1.5 hours, just to check it. It did not turn off.
Design
We liked the plastic thermo case very much, it is convenient and safe to store the straightener. There is a mechanical lock for locking the plates in a closed position. The wire rotates and does not twist, it has a standard length of 1.8 m.
The quibble
There’s a picture of this model on the box, where the loop for hanging up is clearly visible. The one we got for testing has no buttonhole.
STRAIGHTENING: SUMMARY OF THE TEST GROUP
