Test of Panasonic ES-SL41 electric shaver

This razor was created by the company to conquer the youth audience. This is where the mixed reviews come in: the younger portion of our group was happy with the shaving quality, while the older gentlemen were more critical in their evaluations, their stiff stubble being “overkill” for this razor. The low RPM should also help youngsters learn how to shave properly, and it can be annoying for an experienced user.

Features

This is because young people with stiff stubble received an excellent shave, while those with stiff stubble received a lesser shave rating.

WET SHAVE – 4.75.

On cheeks – 5.

Compared to a dry shave, the foam process is more comfortable.

At the neck – 4,5.

It takes a lot of effort to shave off all the hairs.

Over upper lip – 4,5.

The foam helps but the shaving process is not very fast.

Condition of skin after shaving – 5.

Due to the low speed of the shaver, the shaving process takes slightly longer than with other shavers from this manufacturer. We emphasize again that this is due to the fact that the razor is intended for young people – beginners in this business.

Ergonomics – 5,88.

Appearance – 5.

Very often in the reviews the word “elegant,” and the design was praised even by those approbants who had comments on the functionality. The plastic is of high quality, bright razor. Suffice it to say that its appearance was developed by Panasonic Design Studio in Milan.

Comfortable in your hand – 5.

Optimal balance of shape and weight. Fits comfortably in your hand, no sliding, no shaking.

Tile impact – 5.

The shaver passed the test “perfectly”, passed the drop on tiles easily, with no loss.

Storage and handling – 4.5.

Comes with a hard stand and charging case. Plus, a plastic shield over the working part of the shaver. All of which makes it a place on your desk so you can have it handy at all times. the holder is recommended for traveling, it not only protects the foil, but also prevents the shaver from being accidentally switched on.

But there is no bag for transportation. The instructions tell you how often you should change the blades, and give you the part numbers of the appropriate replacement blocks. The shaver gets an extra point for the trimmer 0.5 and for an optimal shape/mass ratio 0.5 . The shaver is really quite lightweight that was noted by all participants of the test. Thanks to all the components, this device received the highest score for ergonomics.

Charging – 0.22.

For self-care

Producers claim the razor has 8 hours charge. According to our measurements, the full battery lasts for 1 hour 23 minutes of work. It is much more than the manufacturer stated. It’s clear that without a load the shaver has a longer running time, but the number impressed us.

This shaver has no short-term charging, and it takes a long time to keep it plugged in – 8 hours, conveniently turned on at night.

No end-of-charge indicator. Light simply illuminates when the shaver is plugged in. It’s certainly uncomfortable. In general, this shaver is very skimpy, in terms of indication: there is no signal that the shaver should be put on the charge, no indication of the level of charging.

In addition, the adapter is only suitable for 220-230 V mains. Consequently, the shaver can not be used in countries with a different voltage in the network.

Price/performance ratio: +1

Great! They created a shaver for young people that they can use, and it’s not going to be an outrageous purchase. This effort and dedication to offering a nice, inexpensive razor is appreciated with an extra point.

The score including wet shave – 15.05/

Excluding wet shaves, 10.35.

Dry + wet shave + price/performance – 16.1

I would like to know how durable and long-lasting the Panasonic ES-SL41 electric shaver is. Does it provide a smooth and comfortable shaving experience? Is it suitable for sensitive skin? And how effective is the shaver in capturing and cutting hair without causing any skin irritation or discomfort? Thank you for any insights!
