New FE 14mm F1 Lens.8 GM – compact and lightweight. Its dimensions diameter x length are 83×100 mm and its weight is only 462.1 g. Advanced optical technology delivers high resolution and superior contrast. The two newly developed high-precision aspherical XA elements achieve outstanding detail all round, even in the corners, in a compact and lightweight package. Two super-low dispersion ED elements and one Super ED element compensate for chromatic aberrations and improve contrast at all apertures.
Thanks to the F1 maximum aperture.8 new lens allows you to take high-quality photos with point light sources, such as stargazing or other low-light scenes, without having to use a very slow shutter speed. Nano AR Coating II enhances micro-contrast and detail by reducing flare and smudges of color.
The FE 14mm F1 lens.8 GM provides beautiful bokeh effect at F1 aperture.8 even at a focal length of 14 mm. The minimum focus distance is 24.89cm. The focus ring with Linear Response MF reacts sensitively to rotation and enables precise manual focusing. Aperture ring makes it easy to control the aperture.
