DESIGN FEATURES
Sharp LC-19LE320RU is equipped with a built-in digital DVB-T/C tuner for receiving digital terrestrial and cable TV signals. 3D Y/C digital comb filter is used to separate brightness and color signals and better display of color transitions and borders of objects. In addition to clearing the picture from noise, the model uses the noise reduction system.
PICTURE QUALITY
Sharp LC-19LE320RU showed great color and brightness margin, deep black and rich white. The quality of the display shades of black turned out to be at a reasonably good level.
When the viewing angle is changed – tilting sideways – the contrast drops noticeably from about 80 degrees from the angle perpendicular to the screen, when viewing from below the colors darken from about 50 degrees.
When the high definition 1080p signal is fed to the HDMI connector the resolution of the device is about 550 TV lines, when fed to the component input – about 450 TV lines, which, generally speaking, could be a bit more.
When playing a standard definition signal through the HDMI connector, digital artifacts like combing on moving oblique lines were practically unnoticeable, while the motion was displayed quite smoothly.
The flesh colors are a little over-saturated in some shades. White objects on a white background are displayed with good detail.
With standard definition signal at the component input, the detail of bright scenes is average.
Digital artifacts in the moving oblique lines are almost not noticeable. Colors are natural enough, but the flesh tones are a little bit oversaturated.
Of the settings, note the flesh tone adjustment, backlighting, and noise reduction.
AUDIO QUALITY
The sound of the Sharp LC-19LE320RU is quite strong, without any noticeable distortions, true, the bass is a bit formal, but you can hardly expect much more from a device of this size. There is a 5-band equalizer for fine-tuning the tone.
SERVICE FEATURES
Sharp LC-19LE320RU main menu is displayed with blue background. Tamper-proof function to limit “interactions” with the TV, such as with small children. Sleep-timer allows you to program the TV to turn off after a certain time.
In addition to the remote control, the control buttons are also provided on the right side of the TV body.
