Fundamentals of modern photojournalism. Newspaper and magazine photography. Professional qualities necessary for photojournalism. Photojournalist ethics. Analysis of information, search for relevant topics. Visual storytelling skills. Dramaturgy. Psychology. Communication Skills. Design Thinking. Preparing for the shooting: gathering information, planning, making contacts, finding a ficcier.

Visible and invisible photographer, the familiar camera. Shooting, selecting and editing of footage, construction of photo history. Travel Photography and Travel Magazines. World photojournalism stars. Photo agencies and communication with them.

Marketing. Using Internet and social networks to promote your projects. Personal contacts. Hands-on exercises and projects. Public defense of the projects made during the training ā€“ an open show.

Course duration: 8 months, 16 sessions + 1 graduation. Frequency: 2 times a month on Sundays dates to be announced one or two weeks in advance . Place of classes: School of Visual Arts, Contemporary Art Center ā€œWinzavodā€ m. Kursk .
