the camera body is both conservative and modern, pleasant to the eye and comfortable to work with. Developers made sure to have a developed control system and added the proprietary i-Function interface – a system of managing key parameters by means of a special button and lens focusing ring. Without taking the camera off the production line, i.e. without taking it away from your eyes or the scene you’re shooting.
The good form is matched by the adequate contents: fast electronics, plenty of functionalities oriented both for beginners and for quite experienced amateur photographers. The only doubt is the company’s special pride – the 20-megapixel CMOS sensor developed by the company, the base of all modern NX models. In good light, the camera has quite enviable detail, but as the sensitivity grows, it reveals unpleasant noise and problems with reproduction of halftones and colors.
The NX system itself looks attractive compared to some of its competitors. In addition to a variety of accessories, it already includes nine lenses, among which there is even a powerful brightness “portrait” 85 mm, F1.4 , 60-mm “macro” and ideal for compact cameras 30-mm “tripod” F2,0. the choice, of course, is not as big as in the “classic” systems, but it already allows you to form a kit to suit the personal needs and tastes of the owner.
Introduced recently updated NX210, not much changed externally and internally, expanded the communication capabilities. Built-in Wi-Fi lets you connect to phones, tablets, TVs and the Internet to send pictures directly from the camera. However, retrogrades, avoiding modern technology, can still save money by choosing the same, only less sociable, “original” NX200. If you’re looking for a modern compact with good controls and advanced functionality, both cameras are definitely worth considering.
