They do not talk about critical failure of raw material supply in “Nevskaya Cosmetics”, but they are already looking for alternative suppliers from India or China in case they lose their current partners from other countries. “Now we are searching for raw materials duplicates, but this strategy in the work of our company is standard and has been applied for a long time in case of unforeseen difficulties in the supply,” – clarified the press service of the company.

Nevskaya Cosmetics” admits that domestic production of household chemicals or cosmetics depends on import supplies. “As a percentage, the involvement of imported raw materials is up to 50%. Cosmetic products and detergents are very dependent on imported components: active ingredients in cosmetics, enzymes, defoamers in powders, etc. are made abroad,” the company said.

The producer of feminine hygiene products brand Bella said that there are no critical problems with the supply of raw materials, but the company still has to adjust to the new reality. “If we talk about the main component of women’s pads, it is cellulose. Earlier it used to come from Europe and the US, now we are refocusing on pulp produced in America and Belarus”, – the company says
