. Two different types of tough triple-layer inner non-stick coatings Whitford QuanTanium based on titanium for pots and Teflon Select for sauté pans make Madera cookware more durable and scratch resistant.
This modern non-stick coating enables you to stew vegetables in a Madera pot without adding water and roast meat without oil – a healthier dinner with less fat and preserving all the vitamins, minerals and trace elements in the food.
A special thickened five-millimeter bottom provides efficient, fast and even heating, which saves energy and time when cooking.
The whole series is made of high quality cast aluminium.
An important detail which makes Madera pots, pans, woks and pans especially comfortable in everyday use are the ergonomic handles with Soft Touch coating, which are non-slip and non-heat.
Most Madera series pans also come with a heat-resistant glass lid with a steam outlet. The silicone rim ensures a snug fit to the cookware and also protects the edges of the lid from being chipped if dropped. The pans in this collection also have high rims to minimize oil leaking onto the cooking surface.
In the Madera collection Polaris offers six pans which are suitable for any kind of stove, including induction.
