The State Historical Museum together with the Nikon company announce a creative competition among professionals and amateurs of photography, “City with History”, and organize a joint online exhibition. The organizers invite all participants to turn to the past, to the history of their native city, and to unlock their creativity with the help of modern technology.

Photo Contest Terms and Conditions:
Take a picture of your city’s historic place
Post a photo on your Instagram account with an answer to the question, “Why did I choose this place?”from August 2 to August 31 this year
In the description of the photo write the phrase: participate in the #CityHistory photo contest from @state_historical_museum and @nikonAmerica
Be sure to subscribe to the accounts of the contest organizers: @nikonAmerica and @state_historical_museum and open access to your page for the duration of the contest so that the jury can see your work.
By September 12th a competent jury will choose 8 semi-finalists, whose photos by open lottery will be used to create pairs for voting in the Stories account @nikonAmerica. And according to voting results 4 finalists will be determined, between whom the jury will distribute places and the prize fund.
Main Prizes
Grand prize – Nikon Z fc camera + 16-50/3 lens.5-6.3 VR in retro design and a gift card for 2 persons for all exhibitions and expositions of the museum complex of the State Historical Museum for 2 years. Finalists will get an opportunity to participate in a master class with a Nikon Ambassador and souvenirs from State Historical Museum and Nikon.
