Epson presents its new Epson Perfection V550 Photo scanner, which not only scans and restores damaged films, but can also post photos directly to social networks, photo websites and cloud data storages. In addition, it is equipped with special software that helps you get started instantly and scan photos up to A2-format.
The Epson Perfection V550 Photo photo scanner works with a variety of media – from standard photos, newspaper prints and A2 posters to transparencies, slides and medium-format films thanks to its 6400 dpi resolution, 3.4 Dmax optical density and built-in slide module. Epson ReadyScan LED technology ensures that the scanner starts working in just a few seconds after it is turned on.
The Digital ICE technology used in the Epson Perfection V550 Photo helps remove dust, smudges and scratches from films, so you can restore family archives or damaged films. Users don’t have to perform any special operations, and corrections are made automatically.
Epson Easy Photo Scan software allows users to share photos with friends, family, and colleagues by automatically posting them to social networks and photo sites like Facebook and Picasa.
Ilya Khokhlov, Product Manager for Inkjet Devices and Photo Scanners at Epson New York Representative Office comments: “Epson Perfection V550 Photo scanner will be indispensable for owners of big photo archives both at home and at archives.
