NEC Display Solutions Europe will showcase for the first time at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam its latest 4K projector, the NEC PX1005QL, from the industry-leading PX series line. New laser projector delivers excellent image quality and as a result, an immersive visual experience. It features high brightness, supports up to 4K signal input and uses NEC’s unique image and color processing technology Scaler Chip. The result is a more detailed, “pixel-free” image, with more detail than ever before. In doing so, NEC delivers on its promise to create “experiences without borders” that connect, engage and impress audiences.
NEC built on its heritage in cinematic projectors to deliver a product that meets the rapidly growing demand for large format digital images in meeting rooms, conference halls, boardrooms, classrooms and in digital signage solutions for shopping malls or entertainment venues.
The new projector features future-proof connectivity and signal processing capabilities, including a variety of 4K inputs including Quad 3G SDI, two DisplayPort and HDMI inputs, and an optional 4K/UHD Open Pluggable Specification OPS PC slot. The PX series provides pixel-free viewing on large screens and can display images from different inputs simultaneously, such as video and a PowerPoint presentation.
The PX1005QL projectors feature a laser source that enables new levels of brightness combined with low operating costs while supporting new applications and projecting onto larger screens. The projector is less dependent on ambient light conditions and consumes less power. The devices are virtually maintenance-free, with controllable lifetime performance and no need for screen or optical filter replacement.
The laser source has a typical lifetime of 20,000 hours. This further reduces the cost of ownership over the life of the equipment and makes the PX1005QL a very interesting and inexpensive projector for a wide variety of organizations, from large venues to colleges and schools.

The PX1005QL provides fully flexible installation options 360 degrees , unique image geometry settings, supports picture-in-picture and 3D. The projector includes a choice of wide-zoom bayonet lenses as well as support for third party lenses, allowing for customization of installations, ensuring easy replacement in existing projectors.
