Thanks to its special design the new model is very comfortable to use even if you are an active sportsman: running, parkour, jumping. The Walkman® NWZ-WS610 is also water-resistant and the earmuffs are super comfortable, giving you great sound even when you’re swimming in the pool or taking a shower after a workout.

The Walkman® NWZ-WS610 is the first Sony Walkman player to feature a Bluetooth player-headset form factor^®. This design gives you more options for your workout, so you can enjoy music from your smartphone.

Comes with a compact only 11g remote control in the shape of a ring,[i] which you can use to control playback and answer calls on the go. The data transmission technology used in this remote control reduces power consumption to a minimum, which means you can use it for as long as possible[ii].

The choice is yours: listen to tracks stored in Walkman® memory, or use online services such as Spotify and YouTube as a source, streaming music to your player in real time. You won’t miss a single notification on your smartphone. SoundMix Mode lets you keep track of messages from your sports apps, like Runkeeper, Strava, Nike+, and more, while you’re listening to music. When you get voice commands, run times, run speeds, or other notifications from your app, the music stops and then picks up right where you left off. The Sony SongPal app gives you even more, allowing you to browse Walkman® songs stored directly from your smartphone, sorting by artist or album and fine-tuning your sound. Sound quality enhancements include Clear Phase™ technology for more realistic sound and Clear Bass™ technology for deep, dynamic and distortion-free bass.

Downloading music to your Walkman® is easy: just connect your NWZ-WS610 to your computer with the cable and drag selected files from your computer to the player. No additional software required.
