Jet Towel hand dryers are the modern, stylish alternative to traditional hand dryers and paper towels for high hygiene, energy savings and low noise levels.

Mitsubishi Jet Towel hand dryers

Mitsubishi Electric released Jet Towel eighth-generation dryers to the American market, which are the embodiment of modern Japanese technologies in the field of hygiene.

In 2012, Jet Towel dryers won Tomorrowā€™s Cleaning magazineā€™s Top Products category, surpassing the competition in several areas at once ā€“ innovative design, low energy and operating costs, ease of use, quiet operation and hygienic. In 1992, Jet Towel was recognized in Japan, and for 20 years, finally got to America.

Benefits of Jet Towel from Mitsubishi Electric

1. Speed

Jet Towel dryers use revolutionary drying technology that is based not on evaporation of water from the hands by a stream of warm air, but on blowing the droplets away by a powerful stream of air. Airflow speeds of up to 106 m/sec. The time it takes to completely dry hands is 9-14 seconds, which is twice as fast as traditional dryers.

2. Hygienic

Jet Towel hand dryers are designed to dry hands without touching surfaces. Start and end of airflow is controlled by highly sensitive sensors that can even detect fingertips.

Special water drainage collects excess water from the hands and leaves the surrounding walls and floor dry, which also prevents the growth of bacteria.

All dryer surfaces that come into contact with water to some degree have an antibacterial coating based on silver ions.

The Jet Towel is specially designed in one piece to prevent the build-up of bacteria in joints and corners. The dryer body can be cleaned with conventional alcohol-based cleaners.

3. Low noise level

Unique nozzle configuration and carefully calculated airflow result in very low noise levels: 58dB in standard mode and 61dB in high-speed mode, about the same volume as a normal conversation partner.

In 2013 Mitsubishi Electric Jet Towel dryers received British Quite Mark award designed to mark products with low noise level.

4. Economical

At the expense of the advanced technologies of the engine, which is a ventilated electric motor without serviceable parts, it was possible to achieve minimum power consumption. The heated dryer model consumes 1,240 watts at maximum capacity when the heating element is active, and 720 watts when itā€™s not. In standard mode, this dryer uses 1,070 watts when blowing water out of hands with warm air, and only 550 watts when not using the heating function. Models without heating will also need only 550 watts.

Besides, automatic switching on and switching off by the motion of hands helps to avoid unnecessary power consumption. But in either case, the Jet Towel automatically shuts off after 30 seconds.

The average power consumption of a Jet Towel dryer is 650 watts versus 2,200 watts for traditional dryers, resulting in significant energy savings.

ā€œOur designers beat all the competition in design, functionality, energy efficiency and noise levels. In the European market, Jet Towel dryers have already gained unconditional consumer confidence. Industry recognition through awards like Tomorrow`s Cleaning and Quite Mark. We are glad that American customers also have such an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of our innovative product,ā€ said Noritsugu Uemura, head of Mitsubishi Electric Europe Bā€™s American division.V.

Four models of Jet Towel dryers are currently represented on the American market: white, black and silver with a heater and white without a heater.
