“AvtoUragan-VSM” are installed on bars above the road, usually a few pieces. Complexes externally resemble regular surveillance cameras, which helps to recognize them unmistakably.

Perhaps this is the most sensational non-radar complex, eclipsed by the legendary “Strelka-ST”. Its cameras have no emitting radar, speed of the car is calculated mathematically – by measuring the time of passing a certain area in the frame. It means that only GPS-database can warn about such a camera, the usual radar-detector is powerless here. Complex works both to the course of traffic, and against the course of the movement, which means it can “beat in the back”.

Due to the radar-less principle of operation, “AvtoUragan” begins to calculate the speed of the car at a distance of only 15-27 meters, so the driver can notice the camera before it “notices” him. Because of this, “AvtoUragan” is most often installed within the city at intersections, where the attention of the driver will not be focused on the distant pole. The device fixes not only the speed, but also driving over the stop line and violation of traffic lights, crossing railroad tracks. Having seen such a camera in the distance, you should not allow any, even the most trifling violations – it is impossible to remain unnoticed in the “AvtoUragan” coverage area.

“Kordon”

The one-block complex Kordon exists in several variants. Compact “Kordon-M “2 controls two lanes, a more popular “Kordon-M “4, respectively, captures the four lanes in both directions of traffic. In one body of the complex fits both the radar emitter and the three lenses, by which it is easy to recognize.

Theoretical range of the Kordon is 500 meters, in fact, the complex is often installed at a steep angle relative to the road surface, so that in the frame gets a small section of the road, a couple of tens of meters. This complex can be considered the most technologically advanced police radar, used today. In addition to speeding violations “Kordon” monitors driving on the roadside and public transport lane, as well as driving on the “oncoming”. Since Kordon accurately “drives” several cars simultaneously, it will be impossible to challenge a fine if there are several cars in the picture.
