The Hotpoint-Ariston brand introduces a new range of improved hoods. The HKE9 combines all these new developments with a minimalist and sleek design. Brushless motor technology reduces energy consumption compared to conventional hoods. X-Duct technology significantly reduces noise. That’s why this new range of Hotpoint-Ariston hoods is recognised as the quietest among the company’s models.

Another innovation is the renewed cleaning system. First of all it is the double filtration system for grease. The motor is blocked, particularly in recirculation mode, which is one of the main causes of hood power loss. All new Hotpoint-Ariston hoods have a double filter that guarantees up to 91% grease absorption, protects the motor and makes cleaning much easier.

Extraction kit includes charcoal filter. This is also a new development. The filter uses active carbon crystals to absorb up to 96% of odours.

Sloping cooker hood with a glass front surface. Can be either white, black or beige, all options look spectacular.

Italian motor RXS 30DT4, which has a five-year guarantee, is used in the device. Low noise level is its most important feature. The hood switches on at fan speed one and then switches off after 15 minutes, so that you barely hear the motor whirring.k. The noise level is only 35 dB.

Perimeter suction system is used in the hood. This modern system not only increases service life of the system and the motor, but actually promotes productivity increase at low noise level.

FUNCTIONAL

The motor has 4 speed settings, designed for different situations in the kitchen. The first stage is the most used, it effectively removes contaminated air and is not audible when turned on. The second stage is activated for cooking with a considerable level of fumes and vapors, e.g., when boiling broth and the third stage is activated when grilling.

The model has an intensive mode. The motor turns on at full speed and quickly extracts all contaminated air. After 10 minutes of operation the system switches automatically to the third speed.

You can program the hood to run for 15 minutes using the timer in order to remove any leftover impurities from the kitchen air, e.g. after a cooking session. You can leave the room and the hood will operate at a speed of your choice for 15 minutes and then turn off.

If you activate the automatic air extraction function, the appliance switches on automatically every hour for 10 minutes. In this case the hood operates on the first speed.

Advantages : 3 colors, automatic.

Disadvantages: Not suitable for wooden kitchen units.

The telescopic recessed hood is designed for installation in a special 60 cm cabinet. Only the front panel and underside are visible, through which the air flows in. Available in three finishes: stainless steel, white and black. The screen must be pulled towards you to switch it on, which increases the suction capacity of the motor and ensures normal extraction.

Suitable for spaces larger than 17 square meters.m.

FUNCTIONAL

The hood is equipped with two permanent grease filters in the form of cassettes. These filters are operated throughout the lifetime of the appliance. It also comes with an anti-return valve. It is installed in front of the duct inlet in the ventilating shaft only in extraction mode . A valve prevents the air flow from the duct into the kitchen, preventing unnecessary odours from entering the kitchen.

Extractor hood also includes charcoal filter ACM 62 . If the appliance is to be used in recirculation mode, they can be installed immediately. The filters need to be replaced periodically afterwards.

Can be controlled by means of a mechanical slider. This is the traditional method for this kind of appliances. The desired setting is selected by moving a slider. The motor has three speed settings – low, medium and high.

Two halogen lamps illuminate the hob. The air duct on this model is 120 mm in diameter.

Hood has a sloping shape. And the air suction takes place between the two frontal panels. The appliance uses the ComfortPanel perimeter suction system.

Perimeter airflow is based on the Venturi principle: air moves quickly through the narrowed space of the panel, then slows down and enters the hood, then is easily extracted.

No need for strong pressure, which greatly improves silent performance. The inside of the model is equipped with a sound-absorbing material. For this reason it is much more efficient and silent. The system reduces the load on the motor and increases the service life while reducing the noise level by 25%.

Four extraction modes and an intensive mode. When it is activated, the extractor hood reaches the maximum performance level for removing heavy fumes and, after 10 minutes of operation, the motor automatically returns to the previously set speed. The timer or rather the remaining stroke with automatic shut-off has three settings: 10, 15 and 30 minutes to remove the dirt from the kitchen after the cooking.

The new collection of ArtGalleryHood hoods is intended to transform the kitchen space, thanks to the six different designs of the front decorative panel: “cocktail”, “shadows”, “imagination”, “monochrome”, “harlequin”, “vintage”. The panels create the illusion of not having an extractor fan in the kitchen as such and having an art object instead. Since the panels are removable, you can change the mood of your kitchen if you wish. The ArtGalleryHood hood collection won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award Honourable mention in 2013.

The ArtGallery hoods are designed for use in modern kitchen interiors. Models are not suitable for installation between cabinets will “compete” with them on “weight” and shape , it is best to place them on an open wall. The new designer hood has a rather cheeky appearance, which is not surprising, since it sends us back to the sixties, to the popular retro style again.

At first glance, the shape of the model looks familiar enough, T-shaped, but it is reinterpreted in a new way. The deliberately smooth, streamlined shape made possible by the use of polymer lends the exterior of the appliance a completely unexpected mood. This is especially noticeable by the unexpected solution at the bottom of the dome, where the filters are. This area is curved and the surface of the filter and the lamp are recessed and curved. The dome itself consists of two parts – the upper, external, made in a certain color, and the already mentioned bottom. It is made in white, the joint between them comes with a polished steel spacer, as it was fashionable 50 years ago.

The model comes in several colors – blue looks more like aquamarine , umber, young green, orange, ivory and white. The surface can be glossy up to a mirror shine or matt.

FUNCTIONAL

Touch control panel located on the canopy. The buttons are big enough, with bright color indication. Motor has 4 speeds. The noise level is within comfortable limits, at the first speed is only 43 dB, i.e. imperceptible.

LongLife charcoal filters are used in the model. They are installed on the motor only if you can not connect the hood to the ventilation shaft. The filters are designed for three years of use. But, just like the grease filters, they require maintenance. Approximately once in two months the filters must be washed in dishwasher and dried in oven, after that they are ready to use again.

Advantages: Interesting design, choice of colors, LongLife filter included.

Disadvantages: For a logical tie it is desirable to apply in the kitchen other appliances, such as refrigerator, in a similar style and color.
