MODEL DESCRIPTION
The hood is designed for wall mounting. And it can be chosen for a free wall, where the model will be presented solo, as well as installed between the hinged cabinets. The Miele DA 7090 W is designed only for recirculation mode. It draws in air by passing it through two types of filters and then returns it back to the kitchen. The first type of filters are grease filters, designed to remove grease particles from the air. The hood is equipped with two cassettes, each with ten work layers. Filters can be easily removed. They can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The second type of filters are charcoal filters, more precisely active charcoal filters. Their task is to trap soot, odors, and absorb moisture.
Suitable for rooms of up to 17 m² in size. No need to connect the hood to the ventilation shaft, the cooking area can be moved more freely.
EXECUTION
Hood control via touch-sensitive buttons. Available in three settings with specific speeds and capacities. Also available in intensive mode. If you want it can be adjusted: the device will go from the intensive stage to the 3rd level after 10 minutes of operation.
The residual flow timer allows to remove the soiled air from the kitchen, followed by an automatic shut-off. The timer has two settings, 5 and 15 minutes. The function can be used at any turbine speed. Both types of filters have contamination indicators. Both of these work like a counter and remind you to take care of it. Hour counter turns on after start of operation. After a set time the LED lights up. User can check how much time has passed since last maintenance of the device, if necessary to reset the counter. Grease filters must be washed and reinserted. Carbon – just replace with new ones.
Con@ctivity function enables the appliance to communicate with the Miele cooker hob. For this you need to buy an additional communication unit XKM 2000 DA. It is placed on the hood, the panel must also be equipped with the appropriate module XKM 2000 KM . When the hob is switched on, information about its operation is transmitted via the network to the hood. Hood switches on, backlight turns on. The fan speed will be determined by the number of burners turned on and their power. After cooking is complete, the hood will keep on working for a few minutes to remove any fumes and vapors from the stove, and then it switches off automatically.
