Design and Construction
Optimally calculated angle of curvature of the screen completely immerses the viewer in what is happening on the screen and provides maximum viewing comfort. The curve follows the shape of the human eye, creating a sense of depth and dimension and reducing glare.
SD85 series models have an ingenious system of concealed cables, which are placed inside the stand, making all cables invisible no matter which side you look at the TV. Rear panel design makes these TVs easy to mount on a wall, stand or pedestal.
Picture quality
Sony’s 2016 TV lineup features not only sophisticated design, but also traditionally high picture quality, which includes support for 4K HDR. HDR High Dynamic Range – High Dynamic Range – guarantees higher brightness, contrast and color reproduction thanks to which the screen displays even deeper and more detailed images.
The standard is expected to be increasingly used in the future for online video, TV channels and Ultra HD Blu-ray discs.
The 4K X-Reality PRO image processor, which is also used in the new 2016 BRAVIA line of TVs, ensures the highest level of image detail when viewing content from any source: TV shows, DVDs and Blu-ray discs, Internet videos and digital photos. This 4K processor also enhances the playback of 4K HDR video streamed over the Internet.
